Skaneateles Carriage House - Walking Distance to Village of Skaneateles

The Carriage House is close to the village of Skaneateles and its beautiful lake. While several restaurants and Mirbeau Spa are right across the street, we're roughly a 5-10 minute walk to all other restaurants, shops, grocery store; as well as a short drive to wineries, distilleries, hiking, etc. Great for couples, groups, and families. Washer and drier in the unit. Outdoor grill and an acre of private land available.

Comfortable linens and towels provided, kitchen stocked with lots of basic ingredients. The cottage-feel will settle you right into vacation mode!

It is a very private, second-floor, 1,000 sq ft apartment. Master bedroom queen bed sleeps 2. Guest bedroom with two twin beds sleeps 2. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps 2.

***We also have a beautiful first floor studio add-on unit for two more guests, if upstairs guests need more space - please inquire with Kate for pricing and photos!***

One dog or cat is welcome upon approval. However, we request a $30/night pet fee to be paid upon arrival or prior. Please inquire with Kate.

Children's toys, toddler high chair and plates/utensils available.

We enjoyed the peaceful backyard and sitting on the deck. Perfect location to walk into town, walk our dogs and lots of excellent food close. The hosts Kate & Sebastian were very accommodating, friendly and communicated immediately. We are looking forward to returning to the carriage house!

Wonderful place to stay. Has everything you need and then some. Owners are very friendly, accommodating and available if needed. Very convenient to the village center - I walked in at least once every day, and often twice or more. Loved the balcony and large yard, especially for the view. Bedding was comfortable, as was the living room area. I stayed by myself and had plenty of room. With a larger group, having only one bathroom might be challenging, but it just depends on the guests and their preferences and expectations.

Cozy and clean

We enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for our weekend. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and was warm and inviting. Beds were comfortable, it was nice to have a parking spot just for us, there was plenty of hot water in the shower - just perfect!

Lovely apartment in a charming carriage house. Clean, comfortable and quiet location within easy walking of downtown Skaneateles. Definitely would recommend and stay there again!!

Convenient location

Property was exactly as described. Kate & Sebastian were so easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We will certainly stay at this property again when visiting family. Highly recommend staying here!

This place was a perfect size for four people and our dog. Kate (the host) was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. She even helped us with our full itinerary. It was a short walk to get into town. The house was immaculate and it had everything we needed.

The Carriage House was perfect! Very clean, quiet, pretty backyard, decorated as depicted in pictures, and very close to Skaneateles by drive or walk! Loved how owner gave recommendations and a detailed map of area! Easy access and had zero issues or questions! Would highly recommend!!

Quick Spring Break Getaway

We wanted to get away for a couple of days for Spring Break somewhere close and new to us. The Carriage House was the perfect home base as we explored Skaneatles. Kate was incredibly responsive and provided helpful info about the area. The property was comfortable and well appointed. We felt at home and the location couldn't have been better - close to everything!

Fall getaway to Skaneatelis by way of Carriage House

The accommodations were tastefully decorated and furnished. The expansive backyard was a favorite for our dog. The property owner was very responsiveness to our needs. Convenient location to shops and restaurants.

Quaint and cozy getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cute Carriage House. Everything was as described in the listing. We really appreciated having a kitchen and laundry. We also appreciated the owners plowing for us and making sure we had a safe way to get in.
