Organized check in- no surprises. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed. We hiked all day at nearby Porcupine State Park- the hot tub was lovely.

Host was very fast at responding. Hot tub was simple and clean. Very pet friendly, they had many things to accommodate dogs. The dog line they have was probably my FAVORITE thing about this entire rental. If I ever come back to the UP in the winter I will definitely rebook.

Great stay in a perfect spot to hike and explore the Porcupine Mountains and surrounding areas. The house was nice and relaxing.We arrived just after 2PM, while check in was not until 3PM, and the owner was able to facilitate us while still cleaning the property. Very courteous and we appreciate him!Will stay here again.

I enjoyed my second stay in White Pine. The house is next to lots of woods and very quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and privacy. Large kitchen to cook in. Bummer the garage didn't lock, but the host was aware and would replace it soon. Some minor bumps with having to put away dishes and towels from the previous stay, but ultimately I would return!

The place was nice. We had a nice stay. Couldn’t find towels until the end of the trip but they were still wet on the dryer and we were left with 1/4 roll of toilet paper and paper towels we had brought our own so no problem. The door handle wouldn’t lock but the host was very fast to respond. Overall it was a nice stay

Host was welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The property was a great base from which to explore the U.P. By snowmobile. We are already discussing our next trip back.

It was a great place to stay and the host was easy to contact and communicate with. House was clean and had all the amenities that we needed and then some. Only issue we had was a lock on the garage door that didn't lock, so all of our stuff that we were keeping in the garage during the trip was unsecured. Hopefully the owner finds it in the budget to replace that service door handle so the future renters can lock it up while they're not there. Everything else was great!

The house is overall clean however there is a musty odor throughout the house, possibly from the hot tub. The hot tub water was cloudy so it was not used. The door to the garage does not lock, it is in need of repair and leaves a less than secure feeling. I also saw a cockroach in the main bathroom my last day there. It’s possible it came in with other guests. The house was well stocked with rainy day activities and the backyard was nice to sit in. Lots of blankets around to keep warm. Check in was easy and the host responded quickly to any questions.

For us, this was a launching spot for a winter trip in the Porkies. We appreciated the location and space. The heated garage made it much easier to prepare our camping/trekking gear in the car.

It was geographically a good location forThe activities, beds were comfortable and it was spacious. But, not nearly up to our standards in terms of the condition of the property. Grass was uncut, weeds growing everywhere, looked like a vacant house when we pulled up. Repair opportunities abound. Hot tub in basement was lackluster and went unused by us. I had higher hopes from the listing photos. Beds were comfortable, house had A/C which was a bonus. Door lock in garage still broken. May be better suited for a guys weekend of hiking, snowmobiling, etc.
