The cottage was very cute and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. We had one problem with the coffee pot but the host brought us another one right away! Everything was super clean. We enjoyed our time in Half Moon Bay. It was a perfect three night getaway.

Very nice quaint cottage like, excellent for a short stay after an event in the garden winery. Note: no washer dryer nor BBQ grill here. Window stoops were dusty, as we are sensitive to that, but otherwise just fine. We had all we needed. Easy close access to town and the PCH, SF not too far either. Don't expect in CA to avoid traffic, one drawback is the road noise from the main road .

Such a cute and private cottage. The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen has a nice size fridge that will hold plenty of drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed the private front porch area with plenty of seating and a propane fireplace to keep warm. Upon entering the cottage it had a musty smell so I oftentimes had all the windows open for fresh air. I think the smell is from the moisture in the area. A nice candle was provided in the living room and that helped clear the air. The winery has great wine, snacks, and music on Sunday. The cottage is far enough away from town to enjoy some nature sounds and close enough to drive for coffee and food. I was able to meet the owner and she was very nice and helpful.

Perfect home base

We were in town to be with my daughter who was having surgery at Stanford. This place was a perfect location close to both the hospital and her home in Half Moon Bay. Also close to everything you need...restaurants, shopping, the beach, etc. An absolutely adorable little cottage! Very clean and well appointed, we would definitely stay there again!

Highway Getaway

Perfect spot for a Half Moon Bay visit. Charming cottage, great location and everything you need for exciting action packed or relaxing stay. When we come back we’ll definitely look to stay here first.

Awesome cottage

The cottage is private and beautiful. Everything was top notch - rain shower head, excellent kitchen amenities, comfortable mattress. Lovely outdoor space with fire table. Love this place!

Lovely stay

The property is exactly as listed. We were so comfy and cozy during our stay! The owners even brought by a new canister of propane for the outside fireplace within a couple minutes of messaging them that it had run out! Wonderfully located for day trips - within a couple minutes of downtown Half Moon Bay, half hour to Pacifica, and about an hour to Santa Cruz.

The Casa is an ideal starting point for discovering Corsica. On one side the sea in Calvi, on the other side the mountains and both visible directly from the house, which is tastefully furnished. It is easy to spend a long time here.Roberta is a very nice and helpful landlady who always gave us good tips and was always available to answer our questions.We really enjoyed our time here and it certainly won't be the last time we stay here.

Lovely Place

Property is lovely and has everything you need. Downside volume of traffic - we knew it was by a road but didn't appreciate how much traffic there would be. Having said that we still enjoyed our stay and Half Moon Bay is beautiful.

Lovely Cozy Place

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this quaint, beautifully remodeled and decorated winery cottage. The bed and bedding are very comfortable. It is well stocked with towels, kitchen items, and wine for sale from their winery. We had the pinot noir, which was fantastic. It is off the street, but inside was quiet. We met the owners and they were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

The place was very clean and nice. There was a sort of musty smell.

They stay was nice, clean, everything worked. The only complaint would be the musty smell and a charge of $50 if you don’t take out the trash. Wait, don’t we already pay a nice cleaning fee??

Great place, busy road

We stayed at the property for 1wk. Super clean and tidy, has all the essentials. Likely more of a weekend place, which I think would be a lovely escape attached to a winery. The main reason we're ranking 4 stars is because of the location - a fairly busy road which limits your ability to walk along the road and explore outside.

Spotless!

We chose to stay here for two reasons: Location and because we own a winery back East. The location achieved the objective to be close to the ocean and to put a little distance between ourselves and our larger family gathering 20 min. away. Since the winery is only open from Thursday through Sunday I think, and we were there earlier in the week we didn't get to investigate that side of things very much but I can report that the couple of bottles we did buy were very drinkable. If you look on the map or in one prior comment you'll see that the cottage is indeed quite close to a main road. However, we can confirm that the place is protected enough that the road noise inside is no bother at all. As to the interior, it is perfect for a couple. Having stayed in quite a few VRBO's, many bigger and fancier than this one, what really struck me though, is how absolutely neat and spotless the place was inside. Whoever is responsible for cleaning and straightening deserves a medal.
