Good place to use as a home base to see D.C. and College Park. Easy parking. House, sheets and towels were clean. Very responsive host.

Cozy and perfectly located!

The home was very comfortable and homey. Conveniently located, short Uber ride to the museums and memorials. The host was very kind and responsive as well. Would stay again!

We loved our stay. We had to switch last minute because of some issues at another place and Kenny's house was perfect. Neighborhood was great, easy access to the metro, grocery stores and restaurants. House was older like a lot of housing in the area but well kept, comfortable, easy to find and use amenities like a/c, washer/dryer, all kitchen appliances. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent House and Host

This was the perfect house for our Washington DC family trip. It was clean and comfortable. The host provided everything that we needed for an easy stay and was very accommodating. . It was a quick walk to the metro. I would happily stay here again if we came back to the area.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This place was perfect for our stay. Easy access to bus/metro lines. Adorable neighborhood. Great communication with Kennie. Our only problem was an internet problem. It was a service provider problem (not Kennie’s fault) and he kept checking in with us until it was resolved. I highly recommend!!

Overall just what we were looking for to be away from downtown but 30 min trip by car, bike or metro. To most things downtown. House is easy to navigate to from metro or by vehicle in from Regan airport. The basement has a separate tenant . This was a surprise as we didn’t see it in the description and being an older house you definitely know someone is there. Owner was responsive to the few issues that did arrive but overall we enjoyed our stay and the value was good.

Lovely house, nice neighbour, close to public transport. Only negative, we left the back bedroom windows open 1 day and came back around 7pm to find that all upstairs had a cannabis smell.

Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable, had enough space to hang out and the mattresses were comfortable. It is an easy 1/2 mile walk to the Metro station which we found easy to navigate. There is a pizza restaurant to pick up dinner at on your walk back to the house from the Metro. We had a maintenance problem and the host responded quickly and took care of the problem promptly. He answered our questions promptly too. I would stay here again.

Great place for the price

This was a cute little place for the money. The on street parking wasn't an issue at all. The beds were comfortable. It was only a 15 minute walk to the metro station and having 2 metro cards available for use at the house was a great little bonus. The downstairs neighbors weren't too loud, but you could hear their conversations. It wasn't really an issue. The host was great when VRBO didn't sent us the check in instructions. The list of checkout tasks wasn't intense, either. Overall, it was a great little place for our stay in DC!

Great find for an awesome price!

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived at night and at first were concerned about the location, as we drove in off of a road that was not the one close to Catholic University, and it gave off a very different vibe (all this to say, don’t be alarmed if you come this way too!). The house is old, but well-maintained and has even more space than the listing portrayed. We never felt unsafe, and this is coming from a family with a lot of young kids. We even took advantage of the pack n’ play and high chair that were a pleasant surprise to find at the place, as we did not see them listed in the listing. We walked to the metro station (which is right by Catholic University) and found it easy to use the red line train to get all over the place. It was about a 1/2 mile walk to the station, and did have a few small up and down hills, but it was doable even with a double stroller. Street parking was never an issue in terms of finding a spot right by the unit. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Owner was very helpful and kind, available to talk to with concerns. Home was what we needed and nicely located around where we wanted to be. The neighborhood was pretty quiet. Smaller older building, cozy enough to stay in comfortably.

Great family place

This place was exactly what our family needed for a first-time trip to DC. Easy access to public transit, grocery store close by and a safe neighborhood. The metro is a good 10 to 15 minute walk (up and down hills) but bus stops are close by. We did our grocery shopping the first day but stopped at CVS for stuff we forgot. Kennie was great about responding to my questions. I would definitely stay here again!
