I’ve stayed in well over 50 vrbo properties and this was easily one of the best. House is far more luxurious and comfortable than pictures can convey. The host could not have been more accommodating. As for the area, The Finger Lakes far exceeded my expectations and the house was in the perfect location.

This was our second time staying at Stairway to Haven, and it didn't disappoint. It is such a lovely home, with every possible amenity, very comfortable beds, and gorgeous decor. The home has beautiful lake views & such a peaceful private location. Sitting on the deck or the dock at sunset with a glass of wine is the best! We thoroughly enjoy the surrounding countryside, including many wineries & breweries, as well as several quaint small towns & great state parks in the Finger Lakes area for hiking and seeing waterfalls. Jill is a wonderful host, responsive to any need that may arise. We look forward to our next visit.

This was the most beautiful, outstanding property. The house was immaculate. There was a nice welcome basket from Jill. Everything that you could think of needing was available. the kitchen was fully stocked and many appliances like blenders and waffle makers were there. The property was beautiful, including a huge dock, fire pit, many conversation areas, hammock,and a large game room which everyone enjoyed. The lake was crystal clear and the view from the master bedroom was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this home highly enough. For those who are into decor, it was perfect. We came in the fall, and there were very tasteful fall decorations throughout the home. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t stay long enough. Stairway to Haven, we will be back.

This is I highly maintained and well supplied home. It lacks for nothing. Jill has thought of everything you could possibly need, from cookware to beach toys, bathroom and personal care needs to electronic, table and board games, portable Bluetooth speakers.This was our second year. We’ve already booked for next summer.Relax and enjoy.

The most beautiful house we’ve rented in the FLX in 7 years of visiting annually. The host thought of everything and all the little touches were greatly appreciated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted/needed and more. We absolutely loved staying here!

The entire house is amazing. From the moment we walked in until we left, we could not get over the cleanliness and have the hostess, Jill, had thought of every single thing. Family Vacation

Beautiful home. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are plenty of activities- floats, kayaks, game room had so much too do, a great fire pit.

Best family vacation ever!

We were so impressed with everything about the house, the yard and dock, the amenities and games, the host communication and the location. It is perfect for families who needs lots of different activities to entertain different age groups (including a wonderful walking/running/biking trail at the end of the street). We plan to stay a full week next summer!

Absolutely beautiful!

We were a group of military veterans and spouses who meet every two years in different locations as we are scattered. This by far was our favorite place. The hosts have so thoughtfully accommodated every need and more. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. The property manager was wonderful and the views are to die for. If you are going to the finger lakes, this is the place to stay!!

This home is extraordinary. The water seems to be right outside the windows and porches makes you feel almost like you are on a cruise ship listening to the peaceful waves lapping nearby. The sunsets views are gorgeous. And after years of renting various properties, I can honestly say I have never seen such meticulous attention to detail: a welcome gift basket and book about nearby sights and activities, a bin of brochures, multiples coffee stations (with syrups and biscotti!!), baskets with things you might have forgotten in each bathroom, electronics chargers on every nightstand, every possible supply or amenity is here. And the decor is beautiful -- a much higher level than a typical rental. I also love the huge walk in closet in the master bedroom and that there is so much room to unpack. Finally, the location is great -- so close to the wineries and breweries and great hiking spots. My only two caveats: if you are sensitive to morning light, you should bring eye masks because the master bedroom has a large uncovered window, and the the house is VERY vertical so it would be extremely difficult for someone with mobility issues to stay there because there are so many stairs (1.5 flights to get from parking to the front door and another flight to get to the main living area). If you can deal with these two considerations, you will be thrilled.

Gorgeous, Spotless Home; Amazing Amenities

This place lives up to the pictures…beautiful, clean and upscale. The amenities were amazing, from the towel warmer to the bath bombs to the welcome basket….and even sugar free syrups for my coffee! The views were spectacular. We would revisit and recommend. Thank you!

Amazing Home

The home was wonderful and a perfect place for friends or families to have a great time. Game room in garage was a huge success. Everything was top notch with anything you would need for a vacation. Pristine Property

Stairway to Haven is an outstanding, modern and pristine property with an incredible view! We celebrated my wife's birthday will close friends and enjoyed all of the fantastic amenities offered! The location is perfect for access to the lake, nearby wineries, dining locations and even a walking/biking train along the river. We would enjoy a return trip in the future!

What a Gem! My husband and I are frequently travelers and I can say with certainty that this was the nicest VRBO pick we have ever made. The house was beautifully located and it was impeccable. The Amenities exceeded any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in. I completely fell in love with this property. The interior design was out of a magazine. Jill was very responsive to all our questions and it was a total delight to spend the weekend at this magnificent home. Very highly recommended. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would have!

Incredible! Over and above any rental we've stayed in before. Decor is impeccable and there isn't an amenity that was overlooked. Beds and all indoor/outdoor furniture very comfortable. Kitchen stocked extremely well. Lake toys (kayaks, paddle boards, floats, etc) made water play a blast! And the view from the deck and dock cannot be beat - super peaceful and private. We loved exploring the local area as well- hiking in state parks, bike riding, boating, and wineries/breweries. We enjoyed a fantastic week with our family and hope to return again!

Beautiful home in FLX!

Thank you for a great week at the Finger Lakes. The house was perfect for our family. We each felt like we had our own private section of the house the way the bedrooms are spread out. The kitchen has all the amenities one could want. And the lakeside toys were plentiful. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets on the pier. Highly recommended.
