The house was clean, described perfectly, very comfortable, had many kitchen supplies, including the 2 refrigerators, and had great views of the lake. The hot tub was very relaxing. Our only negative comment was that the area getting in and out of the hot tub was dirty (soil, leaves, and other yard materials), making it difficult to exit without ending up with dirty feet.

Dundee Lake House

This house was beautiful! View of the lake was gorgeous with plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy. House was well stocked and provided an excellent space for our family.Can't wait to go back for another stay!

Beautiful house

We had a great stay and it was a good house for the 3 families that stayed there. It was spacious and views were amazing.

Christmas Stay

Relaxing weekend

The property is very nice . Alittle steep to get down to the water and boat dock . It was a nice relaxing time with the family .

Holiday House

This was a beautiful house! It accommodated my children and their families for a Christmas get together. The view from the table in the kitchen was breathtaking. We all are in agreement to rent this in a warmer time so we can enjoy all the outdoor furniture and the lake. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Mary and Brian

Spectacular property with a million dollar view!

Stayed here for a ladies wine trip with a group of 12. The house worked great for our group. Loved the open concept kitchen/dining/living room area. The views were breathtaking from the main rooms and the many outside decks. We loved the fire pit & hot tub and were so thankful the outdoor furniture was still available to us in November. I would love to come back and enjoy this property in the warm weather to take advantage of the dock & lake access.

We made full use of all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Two fridges accommodated the large crew well. The kitchen had everything needed in terms of utensils, pots, containers. TVs in each room was also nice touch. Hot tub was perfect for cold nights. Ample towels provided for each sleeping area. Really appreciated the stay and we hated to leave. Checkin code did not work but immediate answer from the property manager had us up and running right away. Very limited starters for everything, so bring your own dishwasher soap, washer soap, hand soap, shampoo, paper products. Bring your own wood as well for fire. And bring your own ice.

Christmas Vacation

Party of 14 stayed for the Christmas holiday. First the pros: the view is spectacular. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Outdoor chairs still available for us to use at fire Pit. Bedrooms and bathrooms are plentiful. Tidy interior. Cons: hot tub is very slimy and water levels are low, living room does not accommodate large parties or mirror size of kitchen. This is most definitely a non issue in summer months. In fairness I knew from pictures living room furniture was limited. Caution on our first night the upstairs bathroom shower leaked onto the lower level bed which forced family to stay awake late to wash and dry bedding from old drain water. Maintenance did come the next day to address loose drain. Exterior is starting to show some distress on North side of house so hopefully they address this as this could have potential water damage. All and all this is definitely a solid choice when considering a lake rental. Million dollar views!

This place is directly across from Wiemer winery and tucked down by the water so you feel private. The water access was lovely and we had great sunrises, and the house had tons of space.

A Wonderful Family Vacation

My family and I stayed at this gorgeous property with it's priceless views of Seneca Lake. The home was spacious and accommodating for our group which consisted of 10 adults and 4 children. There were only two small issues worth mentioning; the air vent and lights above the stove were caked with grease and dust, which didnt really affect our stay, nonetheless should be noted. The other concern was the hot tub was filthy when we arrived, but a quick phone call to property management and they sent someone out to clean it. We were very pleased with the quick service. The property itself was breathtaking. There are several different areas to spread out to and enjoy. We made good use of the fire pits, horse shoe pits, beach, and dock. Regarding the access to the lake... its a narrow, steep hill with a few bends down to the lake, tried it in my Subaru Crosstrek to get my kayaks and grandparents down there... we stopped about halfway down and realized it was not a good idea to continue. My grandparents were not able to make it down there at first, however we rented an ATV and that did the trick and made it accessible to our whole party. Once down there we were able to kayak, sun bathe, enjoy a fire, and fish. The house sits pretty much in between Watkins Glen and Geneva (about 20-30 mins in either direction). Dundee is about a 10-15 minute ride (did our grocery shopping there). Oh, and there is a winery right across the road from the driveway! Views, charm, privacy, location, wineries.... we couldn't have asked for much more than that! We hope to return in the future.

November 2017 Stay

Had a fantastic wine weekend at HOOK WINE & SINKER!!!! The picture above was the Saturday morning sunrise that we woke up to...gorgeous!!!! We only had one maintenance issue regarding the bathroom and hopefully it will be fixed in time for our next visit. This place is now our “go to” place after several years of staying at Seneca Shores which was booked already for 2017 making me research a new house for a party of 10+. I already booked it for next year!!! Cannot wait!!!

November 2017 Stay

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at Hook,Line, and Sinker. Plenty of space for entire family, fully stocked and spotless kitchen made it a breeze to prepare meals. Beds were plentiful and comfortable. Hope to return in summer season.

June 2017 Stay

Hook, wine and sinker definitely hooked our family of 10! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! It was everything you could ask for in a vacation rental and so much more!! The view amazed me every time I looked out the windows and we were even blessed with a gorgeous rainbow one evening! House was clean and well stocked!! We spent at least two days just hanging here and enjoying the amenities ( hot tub, pier and great decks). We saw and visited many wineries, state parks and shops! Great trip...our thanks !!!!
