Charge your soul, charge your car! "A Shore Thing" is a beautiful, newly remodeled and updated three-bedroom, two-bathroom second row beach home with ocean views. Located in the Swan Lake subdivision of Surfside Beach just steps to the sand. Amazing water views from a large covered front deck, just a short walk to the beach. Shaded parking under the house. Guests can enjoy the charcoal grill and enclosed shower downstairs for rinsing off when you return from the sandy beach. Upgraded whole-house water filtration plus additional reverse osmosis (RO) faucet in kitchen.

** Guests can charge their cars here with the sought-after NEMA 14-50 outlet. (Please bring your charging cables.) ** There are 2 security cameras on the exterior of the home to cover the deck and underneath the home. They do not record audio and are installed solely for protection of property,

I am VERY happy with this rental experience. We stayed at this wonderful house for one week and we had an amazing time. The 3 to 4 minute walk to the beach was very convenient. The house was very welcoming and very clean. My family of 7 fit very comfortably. I highly recommend this house, the owners were easy to get ahold of via the VRBO messenger. If we find ourselves in Surfside, Texas again, we will be staying here!

We had a great time, Matt was quick to respond when asked if we could enter a little early. The beds are old and sunken in, but that’s more of a recommendation to get new ones rather than a complaint! We would definitely rent again.

We rented this property as a second house for a family gathering recently. The "young unmarrieds" (six of them) of our family stayed here. The tasteful decor is bright and charming, and there's a large kitchen and seating area. They all seemed to be very happy with it and liked having their own little place, while also participating most of the time with the other family members staying in the main house just a short walk away. Although it's on the second row from the beach, it's on the corner so not crowded next to other houses, and there is still a pretty good window of beach view from the porch.

This was one of my favorite stays, everything was perfect, the house was super clean, roomy and cozy, the host was amazing and very available. I would highly recommend, and we will def be back!!!

We have stayed at Surfside many times. This home is in a terrific location with easy access to the beach and great ocean views from the large patio. The house lay out is fantastic for a large group or family. It is beautiful inside and comfortable. It is so close to being an absolutely wonderful beach home. But there were a couple of issues that really need to be addressed:1) during the day the house was hot. Even though the thermostat was set at 72 it got as hot as 78-80 degrees inside and even hotter in the big bedroom up front which never cooled down, even at night. When I called I was told the AC was functioning well but the house needed better insulation. The home was very comfortable at night, with the exception of room with the bunk beds which never could cook down, but the AC could not keep the house cool during the day.2) I believe the water is well water because it has a strong odor. You will need to bring bottled drinking and cooking water.Aside from these two issues it is a great place. If the cooling issue could be addressed it would be a perfect beach get away.

Thank you, we're so glad you enjoyed the house and very close beach access! Bunk room now has a separate A/C unit to help keep pace during hotter months. There is a whole-house water filtration system plus extra RO faucet in the kitchen. Beyond those, city water does sometimes emit a mineral smell.

Nice house close to the beach. We loved the shaded front porch. The house had updates throughout. We appreciated the water filter in the kitchen.

Our stay was amazing, it’s was right in the middle of everything we did. The towels were the only thing, they were worn and dark stains looked like someone polished their boots. We loved the house and very well stocked. We want to rent for next year Great place!!

Great House

We stayed here with another family and this house is really nice, spacious, and updated! The kid room was great to have to entertain our 5 kids!!! We really enjoyed staying here and will book again!

June 20-25 Fanily Vacation

We had an amazing time staying here! They had everything we needed, and of course they told us what extra stuff to bring just in case. We had a week stay and it was a great time away! Only thing i suggest is bring extra bug spray for between the houses on the walk to the beach. The host always answered any time i had a question and was very nice. Thank you for letting us make this our home away from home!

Freeport Getaway

The house was very pretty and clean. Our favorite part was the open plan living room and kitchen area where we got to hang out and play games. We also loved how close the beach was. Everything was perfect and we were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful time at surfside

We had a wonderful time at this home, beautiful and comfortable inside and outside on the deck. Anytime we had any questions they were attended to very quickly. I love that you could see the beach from the deck and it was easy access. Would definitely come again 😀

Daughter Birthday party

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The house was very clean, great location. The rooms were very big and beds were comfortable. The only thing is that their were tons of roofing nails that we had to pick up so no one got hurt.

Thank you for staying with us at the coast! We're so glad your highschoolers had a blast on the inflatable slide you brought! Our apologies the roofer wasn't thorough enough with his yard debris. He has since made another pass using the big magnet.

Nice Beach Home

The property was really nice. We had seven kids with us and the house accommodated us perfectly. It's been renovated recently. If you are a fan of Surfside, this is a great little place to call home for your beach getaway.
