Awesome location

The house was absolutely wonderful! We loved being just steps from the beach and the layout of the house was great! This was our first stay but we will definitely be back.

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our fall family vacation. It had a wide open floor plan to accommodate our large group and a well stocked kitchen. The biggest plus for us was you can't get much closer to the beach which was huge with 6 grand kids under 10 yrs old. The property managers Phil and Carol are awesome to work with and we will definitely be back again soon!

Great Beach House

Very nice property with great hosts. The only downside is that the property is next to a public beach access that allows vehicles on the beach.

Awesome Vacation

It was great. Weather was good. House was clean and very convenient to the beach. Carol was very responsive and helpful. We liked it so much we reserved another one of her places here for next year.

Girls Trip

Great location, house, and owners. We enjoyed the beach atmosphere and convenience to beach by the public beach access. Double red flags so didn’t get in ocean but we’re not swimmers anyway. Not a lot of restaurants/grocery options but perfect for cooking and lots of kitchen supplies. Would stay again!

Awesome!

This was the perfect place for our family of 7 adults to gather for a quick vacation. We are NOT a beach family and have never chosen to have a family beach trip. However, we had limited time and wanted somewhere we could vacation that was close to our home in Alabama while we had everyone in town for a few days. Cape San Blas was highly recommended to us so we took a chance. This beautiful home has converted us to a beach family and everyone wants to come back again next year! The home was immaculately clean and the beds were some of the best we’ve had at rental homes. The location was amazing- quiet, convenient to anything we needed and right on the water. The owners were so easy to work with and extremely responsive. We rent a lot of vacation homes and this was by far one of the very best ever. Thank you for giving us a place to build some family memories.

Great spring break getaway

This was our first time in cape san blas and won’t be our last! We loved the location of this house right on the beach and near the few shops and restaurants on the cape. We were a bit surprised on checkin that the bedroom with the twin beds is in the basement are not accessible from inside the house… our kids were young teens so not a huge deal but we had a bad storm late one night and they were texting nervous (the whole house shook from the thunder!) but it was raining so hard they didn’t want to go outside to get to their parents. Just something to note if you have younger kids that may need parents in the night. It may have been noted in the listing and I just overlooked. We would rent this property again - it worked great for our needs! Thanks for letting us enjoy your fabulous home!

Great location!

Great location, so close to beach. Since a cold front had come in, was so convenient to still be "on the beach" but out of the wind! Everything was as described, very happy with outcome.

The location is awesome. There were little bugs in the house upon arrival and they stayed with us. That was a little distraction. Other than that, place was lovely. We had a great time.

Family Summer Stay 2023

We had the best possible time reuniting our family and brining back our yearly vacation at CSB. We have stayed at this property for 14+ years under different owners but Carol and Phil have done outstanding renovations and were incredible hosts. They ensured we had everything we needed, had the best hospitality and were great people to meet. We will be back!

Amazing

This was by far our best beach vacation yet! The house is amazing! Very clean (which is hard to find) and just a few short steps to sink your feet right in the sand! The house was perfect for my parents (very few stairs in house/to beach!) We will definitely be coming back!

AMAZING!!!!

We had never been to Cape San Blas before, but I can promise we will be back. And we will be staying at this exact house every time. First, the owners are incredible to work with.....very fast response time on emails. We reached out to them about an issue with the house we noticed, and they came out to look at it even though they had already been aware of it. And they brought us smores supplies one day as well. Just very thoughtful on their part. We had 8 guests, and it was just right for us. Most everyone had their own room, and if we needed a break from each other, we could take some time to ourselves in our room. :) The kitchen was very well stocked, but the only thing I couldn't find was a pizza cutter. There could have been one that I overlooked. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that one of the bathroom sinks did not have good water pressure. But the shower did. The beds were SOOOO comfortable...we all slept like babies. Our favorite part of the house was the bar on the bottom level. It garnered a lot of attention from all the people passing by...they would all holler out asking how much we charged for margaritas! :) We can't wait to go back the next time! Thank you Carol and Phil!

Great hosts!

It was our first trip to the Cape and we’ll be back. House was clean and great for our family and the grandparents. Right on the beach! The newly remodeled downstairs area is AWESOME! Great for hanging out, eating meals, and just enjoying the beach with family. Large expansive decks are great too. Only downside is that it borders the public access entrance so higher traffic area. Even with that, we did not feel like it was too much and we’d stay here again. The hosts were fantastic. Very responsive to any questions and needs. Highly recommend any of their properties, you’ll be well taken care of. One night they brought s’mores for our kids, so sweet.

Love this house!

We loved the 4 king bedrooms with private bathrooms. The living room is quite comfortable and the downstairs bar area is so fun! We enjoyed sitting on the ocean side deck in the morning shade, then the screened in porch for a shady and breezy afternoon. The views are gorgeous and we loved catching the sunsets each evening! The only downside is being right at the public beach access and all the vehicles coming and going on the beach. We just weren’t used to that but this is a great place! Carol is an excellent host and even stopped by with a gift of local smoked tuna dip & crackers!

Perfect Family Vacation!

This house is a gem! 4 king bed bedrooms with en suite bathrooms was the exact accommodations our family needed. The house is decorated and furnished beautifully. The house is next to the public beach access, so it’s literally steps away from the beach. Carol was very quick to respond to questions! I highly recommend this house!!

Lovely home

Very nice home. Right on the beach. Very clean. Unfortunately, the excavator and dump trucks working on the beach erosion happened to be right at our door step. Literally. So we heard the beeping of trucks all day and the excavator loading the trucks all day. Obviously, this is nothing that the home owners have control over. And something that needs to be done. A few suggestions: there were only 3 coffee mugs but a plethora or glassware. Only 1 dishtowel. But we managed. I feel certain that had we brought this to the attention of Carol and Phil they would have rectified the situation. We just laughed about it and went on with our wonderful beach vacation in a beautiful house. I would definitely rent this home again.
