Luxury on Fifth 4B 2.5B for 10 Guests, 5min drive to Main St

Your group will love this spacious & unique space.

4 Bedroom 2.5 Bath large home. King in the master bedroom and queen beds in all 3 guest rooms along with one air mattress. One of the queen bedrooms is on the main floor with a half bath. 8 sleep comfortably in beds but 10 can sleep with air mattress included. Two large bathrooms with one walk-in rain shower & a bathtub/shower in the other. Both full bathrooms are on the second level. This home has the most beautiful kitchen and dining area. There are two sets of old, STEEP steps. They are on both sides. Take into consideration when booking. Air conditioning units are added to the upstairs bedrooms in the warmer months. We do have air conditioning but the older home is harder to keep cool.

Two car private driveway behind the home and only two cars allowed directly in front of the home.

**This house absolutely does not allow parties or more than 10 guests. You will be asked to leave immediately if rules are not followed**

Great for family get-togethers

This house is unique and very spacious. Early 20th-century charm with nice modern amenities. The two full bathrooms are huge which made getting ready at the same time very convenient. Kitchen was stocked with most of what you’d need. Location is close to Main Street with fun shops and restaurants. Beds were squeaky and a little uncomfortable. That’s our only feedback for improvement. We’d definitely stay again.

Cousins reunion

We really enjoyed the gathering areas in this house. There was enough seating for all of us. The kitchen is large and spacious. The dining room can fit a large group. The host let us know that they had condiments and seasoning already in the home. Plenty of paper product were available. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. Please understand that the stairs to the bedrooms are extremely steep and the step itself is small. Large feet beware. This is listed by the host. Believe them. The reason it isn’t 5 stars is that there are a few problems. There are no bannisters coming up the cement front steps, and the railing has come loose on both the front porch and one of the back decks. The lack of bannisters made it tricky in the rain to exit the slick front porch. Easy fixes and should not detour anyone from booking.

St Charles Getaway

The property was amazing. Very clean and host had everything we needed. Front street was busy with traffic but didn’t impact our stay. Walk was further from Main St. than our party liked but weather was good for it. Emily was quick to respond to our questions. Definitely would recommend!

Family Wedding

We were in the area for a family wedding and stayed at Emily’s property. It was absolutely perfect! The house is nice and spacious and very comfortable. Everything was clean and all the little details were thought of. The location is great! The area has a ton of charm and character, the house included. We would stay again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend to others!

Relaxing getaway

This house was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. There was plenty of space for our group and the house was fully stocked with games, books and TVs in every room. The location was perfect, with a small walk to coffee shops and restaurants. The home is gorgeous with great upgrades. The stairs are steep but they have hand rails and they provided baby gates to keep it safe for kids. This wasn’t a problem for our kids, but something to keep in mind. Would highly recommend.

Girls Trip

This proprety is as described. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The house has plenty of comfortable seating. It is very close to Old St. Charles and good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious, clean and convenient

We (a few dads of HS hockey players in town for a tournament) decided against staying at the team hotel and booked this house instead. It was great to have a nicely-stocked kitchen and some living space, while still providing private sleeping quarters. It’s convenient to downtown St Charles, which was charming. Would fully recommend this home.

Beautiful home

The house was wonderful! All the amenities we needed plus some we didn’t even think about. If we come back to the area I hope this house is still available. Would def recommend for a friends trip or even with younger children.

Awesome stay!!!

Excellent stay in St. Charles! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Tastefully remodeled old home with tons of character. Great location walking distance to everything St. Charles has to offer + at least one nice coffee shop very close by (Upshot). There was a pressing maintenance issue with the property when we arrived but the host worked quickly to get it resolved. Host was very communicative, which we really appreciated. Note to future guests: stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are very steep. Wasn’t an issue for our group, but important to know if you have multiple people in your party with limited mobility. There is a bedroom on the ground floor, but the other 3 are upstairs.

Wonderful St. Charles getaway

I hosted a small retreat for writers for a few days. This is the perfect location since it's very close to historic Main Street. The house was in perfect order, it's spacious, and you can't beat the location. Highly recommended.

Girls trip

This home was just as advertised! It was so spacious and well equipped for our family. They thought of every detail to make you feel like you were at home! Even had toys for 18 month old granddaughter to play with! Extremely clean property! So close to everything when sightseeing! Would love to come back and stay here again!

Charming Home in St. Charles

We enjoyed our stay at the Luxury House on Fifth. We were awed by the interior of the house in the incredible remodel. From the listing we couldn't tell if the rental was half a duplex, but it turned out to be a former duplex that's been covered to a single home. The resulting exposed brick and plenty of spaces made a great place to stay. Modern features and fixtures throughout that would be home on any HGTV show today. The layout also enabled our two families staying there to have enough independent space. The location was just on the edge of the nicer part of town, and still a bit of a longer walk to historic downtown. Getting to the driveway required a few navigation bumbles amidst the one-way streets. But ultimately these weren't big concerns. The house has twin, steep stairways that could be hazardous for small children, but the owner provided a baby gate. Also they provided a lot of infant amenities too for those travelling with small children like we were. Booster seat, pack-n-play, and even some toys in the living room. Our kids felt at-home, especially with the smart TV that we logged into their favorite streaming service. Everything was clean, and the check-in was easy. The owners had a great notebook for reference and great communication. St Charles was great!
