New Home on South Toe River, Pet Friendly

The new Estatoe Oasis sits directly on the South Toe River on 16 private acres - awesome views of the river and Celo Knob. Sleeps 16: ten in upstairs bunk room, six in additional three king bedrooms. Master and upstairs bedroom both have en suite baths. Game room and workout room plus additional bedroom, full bathroom and laundry in basement. Two outdoor decks with fire pit, grill and two picnic tables on upper. Lower deck, with outdoor shower, is adjacent to basement with outdoor games plus a bar, pool table, foosball, karaoke stage and two Xboxes in basement.

Six kayaks and 16 tubes with life jackets provided.

All linens and toilet paper provided. Starter sets of paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and trash bags.

The home was beautiful and very clean, fully furnished including the kitchen. All up-to-date appliances. Beds were really comfortable. The view from the balcony was so peaceful and pretty looking at the river. They even went swimming in the cold water! Everyone enjoyed the game room and the firepit. Would definitely put this on my "repeat" vacation.

Best week of the year!

This summer was our third time back at this house! We love the location in the woods and on the river. The house is always clean and well stocked and the owners are very quick to respond to questions.

The host was always very responsive and respectful. The house was beautiful and situated in a pretty area; it was great sitting on the porch with a fire and listening to the river. Lots of games and River equipment gave us plenty of fun activities to keep us busy without feeling the need to go anywhere else. And I appreciate the host providing supplies and toiletries for the house. Definitely would like to stay here again one day.

Family’s B-day Celebration

The house is beautiful, well equipped for large gatherings. The roar of the Toe River was very soothing and a white noise for sleeping. We had 8 adults , all had their own bedroom and bathroom, but lots of bunks for younger kids. It was an amazing place to have a vacation.

The owners have thought of every possible amenity to make your stay top-tier! Luxurious tubs, bedding, furniture and breath-taking scenery, what’s not to love? Our family enjoyed our long weekend so much we never even left the property yet we’re entertained to entire stay. This would also be an awesome summer vacay destination!

Wonderful house and location!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Estatoe Oasis! The combination of a beautiful house, mountain view and the sound and sight of the river flowing below is unmatched. We enjoyed cooking, eating meals outside on the deck, floating in the river, searching for rocks, and watching the clouds, stars, and birds fly by.

Excellent house and property!

This home is spacious and beautiful and sits on a gorgeous piece of land above the South Toe River. Three families came together at this property for a new Thanksgiving tradition. We had a wonderful time! We will be back, maybe even in the spring for some tubing and rafting on the river!

Beautiful new home!

Our family enjoyed the second floor deck and the amazing game room. We used the fire pit by the river for s’mores on the last evening. Plenty of room beautifully decorated, and they accepted the family dog, as well. Definitely 5 stars, and we want to return!

Beautiful home and location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well appointed home, great for family gatherings. Plenty of room to spread out. Great place to base out of for hikes on the Blue Ridge and close to a cute vineyard. Beautiful back deck overlooking the river - nice place to have morning coffee and evening fireside chats. And, we can verify there are trout in the river.

Great stay!

We had a great time. The home, the view, the fireplaces were great. Kids loved the game room and we had many performances on the karaoke stage! The only negative was the stink bugs. They were on all the bathrooms and even in our beds. I would think there’s a way to spray for them? Otherwise an amazing stay and we would highly recommend,

Excellent spot for family get together

Sharon has thought of everything from the activities available to the camp chairs ready to put around the fire pit to the framed directions around the house where needed. This house was clean and spacious and hosted our party of 14 wonderfully. The kitchen was outfitted with all the things we needed to make our meals (baking dishes, cookie sheets, pots and pans etc). Sharon was responsive when we had questions. We can't wait to come back in the warmer months to take full advantage of the outdoor activities!

Beautiful View!

Oh my! My husband and I walked in and it was more beautiful than the pictures. We have been renting a house for 8 years, this is beautiful. The weather was perfect, the water was great. The pool table was great. We spent a lot of time on the river walking and swimming or just sitting on the deck. There were so many things to do at the house. The river was a little low for kayaking.

Amazing stay

Bill and Sharon’s home is absolutely amazing. It has everything you could want in a property and more…except maybe a hot tub. That, mind you, was of little concern for me, personally, but for my kids, they were slightly disappointed. That being said, they all had a blast and the absence of it was quickly forgotten. You will not be disappointed staying here. Their place is slightly removed from the Asheville scene but close enough to make a visit or two over the course of a week. If serenity is what you’re after, this is your place. Can’t wait to go back.

Gorgeous House in Idyllic Setting

Our stay at Estatoe Oasis was truly delightful. We couldn’t have felt more close to nature and yet pampered. The house was perfect for our four days with sons and granddaughters – roomy and well-appointed. Beautiful décor and plenty of options for indoors entertainment while enjoying the woods and river – plus, it was convenient to our favorite Blue Ridge attractions. We loved playing pool, Foosball, and Xbox and hamming it up one night on the karaoke stage. Best of all was just sitting on the decks, admiring the leafy, sun-dappled river below and green hills beyond. The more adventurous of us tubed from upstream to a hearty welcome at the steps below the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals for seven people. It’s a true oasis, a place of refreshing sustenance, but more: an outpost of adventure. Thank you, Bill and Sharon, for being fantastic hosts, quick to answer any questions, and always pleasant and gracious. I hope we’ll be able to return to Estatoe Oasis next year!

Awesome Property

Pictures do not describe how beautiful this home is. Upon entering the house, you know it is clean and well cared for. Fresh smell and clean entrance are welcoming you! I can honestly say this is the cleanest, most well-maintained home we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked, and even the cabinets were organized! You never had to dig through "stuff" to find what you need. Every room was neat and clean. The finishes in the home were amazing; I loved the live edge wood and all the natural finishes. The decor was not over the top and cluttered like others; it was perfect. The beautiful porches were clean, and no cobwebs. At other properties we stayed at, we had to clean the entire porch before we even went outside. The beds were comfortable, and the grandchildren loved the bunk room. The lower level had games, 2 Xboxes, 2 TVs, and a pool table for entertainment. Outside, the lower level porch had cornhole. There are tubes to float and kayaks. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to use them. The exterior was also well maintained. The river below was a plus for my husband and grandkids as they went fishing and swimming. It is steep to get down, but once down, they had a great time. I would love to have stayed longer and hope to be back soon. I highly recommend this property.

We had the BEST time staying here. The house was by far the most well equipped rental we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need for a large family. The beds were super comfy. Great communication with the owner! The location is so beautiful and the river was so fun. It is very steep getting down to the river but kids ages 3 up made it without a problem. We hope to come back very soon!

Great property. Lots to do in the house and not too far from the smaller towns that make up is area. Would love to come back. Side note. This place is pet friendly but there is almost no grass. Not sure if this was due to the storm last year or it looks like they might be doing some outside work. For dogs that are picky about where they go, be aware.
