Everyone in our party thought this was the best place we had stayed at in the Burnsville area. We had 3 families staying and each had their own level in the house with each family having their own bathroom. Also being able to have all 10 of us sitting around the same table at dinner was a real plus. We will definitely put this place on our future vacation itineraries.

Great Property

This property was just as described and perfect for our weekend friends/family trip! There was a ton of space and the kids (and adults) loved the game room.

Golf trip

We have been going to Mt Mitchell for several years to play golf. This is the best property we have stayed in. The floor plan and location are great!

Amazing Rental!

The property was clean and spacious. Close to many activities along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Especially hiking, waterfalls, quaint little towns. Highly recommend!

Very homey

A wonderful weekend getaway! It had a really nice homey feel and was well supplied with everything we needed. The layout of the house made it perfect for multiple families to vacation together. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

The stay was for a family get together, the first since Hurricane Helene. My daughter has hosted our family gatherings but she lost everything during the hurricane. This was a time to get together and check on everyone’s physical and mental health. The property served that purpose and all is well. Until we are able to rebuild her home, this is the place we will try to book and use. The host was very helpful and the rental was clean and well prepared for the guests. Thank you for making it available.

Spacious Mountain Retreat

This property is a great pick for a large group of friends or a family get together! The bedrooms are large and spacious and the common areas are open and inviting. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen with lots of counter space and the views from the wrap-around porch. If you're looking for a place to host a larger group, this is it!

Family Vacation

The property was the perfect place for a big family vacation. We had 10 adults and 5 children ages 10 to 3 months. There was an awesome game room that kept the kids busy. The big kitchen and large dining table fit our needs perfectly.

Great group spot!

This cabin was amazing! We were on a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip and the guys stayed at this cabin and they could not have been more satisfied and back in high school. It was so perfect for a group of guys that also enjoy golfing. The cabin was spacious enough for the girls to visit one night and do group dinner and everyone was able to eat comfortably. We really enjoyed everything about this trip, from the golf course, to the cabin and the city as a whole!

Just a great time

We loved the location it was private, the house is huge and amazing, enough space to accommodate a large group. The host was very responsive, and kind. Everything was clean, the kids loved he game room, so many amenities available in the house. Drove 5 mins down the road to the river and kids had an amazing time. Definitely will visit again.

Great space for family gatherings. Did need some maintenance, however. Dishwasher needed repair. We were not allowed to use the fireplace which was disappointing as it went down to 17 degrees.

Amazing spot!

We had a fantastic stay at Carolina’s place. It is in a really wonderful spot, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and lots of beautiful hikes. We met family for a reunion and the house was perfect for 8 adults and 6 kids. It was lovely being surrounded by forest on all sides of the house. Carolina was a great host, very responsive and revolved the few minor issues we encountered quickly and effectively.

Mt. Mitchell golf weekend

House was exactly as described. House was clean and well appointed with nice comfortable beds, excellent opportunities to sit on the deck, or as a group watch one of several large screen tv's. Great for a large family, or a gathering of friends. We would stay at this location again and hope that it is available for our next golf weekend. Bob

Beautiful and Spacious, Feels Like Home

This property is Hugh, pictures don't do it justice. We have a large family, 16 total, and everyone was very comfortable. The entertainment area in the basement was perfect for the kids and adults. Loved the large kitchen and den area as it was perfect for our holiday 🎄 celebration. Although we didn't use the porches I'm sure they are a great asset when it is warmer outside. The host was exceptional in meeting our needs and quickly responding. I would stay here again.

We were a group of 15 who stayed here over a weekend and hiked up Mt Mitchell. This is an amazing location with excellent access to trail head. Cottage is well suited and supplied for our large group. Huge living area, well supplied kitchen, nice refrigerator. Rooms are spacious and bed details are accurate. Perhaps the only small improvement would be the toilet flush seems to leak water continuously and you need to jiggle it a bit to stop water leak into bowl. It is a 3 level property - but does have one bedroom in main level.

Friendsgiving Gathering

This property and the host exceeded my expectations. A total of 16 people was able to gather for a nice cozy weekend in the mountains. The pictures did not lie, well actually we got more than what the pictures provided. There was available seating on the balconies, there is a fire pit with firewood provided, there is a gas grill with a propane tank provided. The rooms were so cozy and overall the property was very spacious. It was just what we needed. I appreciate having the opportunity to book this property. Looking for a nice cozy getaway in the mountains for a large family or group of friends, I totally recommend. Last but not least the host was phenomenal, easy to communicate with, very responsive and just overall great! One of the best experiences I've had.
