Relaxing Lakefront

We had a great time with our teens for a long weekend. The house was well-stocked, close to downtown Traverse City & has an amazing beach lakefront. We spent most of our days floating in the lake and making s’mores over the campfire at night. Would definitely return!

Wonderful home and property. Accommodated our large family with plenty of room and comfortable beds. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and grilling with the best view. Our grandchildren loved playing in the lake in the safety of the shallow water there. We did some exploring around the peninsulas, but we could have stayed right there the entire time!

The house was amazing. Well stocked with all the essentials and beautiful views. Tons of room for everyone. The beach was a disaster. Weeds and rocks everywhere. We rented this house for the beach. Owner was very responsive until I had a complaint about the beach. Should be in the description that the water is full of rocks that are hard on kids and older adults.

Just what the soul needed

Great stay! The location was nice and private. We had a blast playing in the water and relaxing outside by the fire. Close to many things but still a private escape.

Best Vacation Home Ever

This was by far the nicest vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. The location was amazing, the home clean and spectacular. Most of all the owner made us feel welcomed and had lots of extras that most other homes do not provide. We would absolutely love to stay here again. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Excellent stay on Old Mission

Our family had such a wonderful long weekend at this property. Check in was easy and the place was clean! You can’t beat the nice and quiet location, right on the beach and close to wineries! We were very pleased with how the whole process went. Would definitely recommend this place!

Large house

Beautiful family vacation

We just returned from the most amazing family vacation at this beautiful lake house on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City! I can’t recommend it enough, especially for families with kids.The house is right on the water with a private lakefront that feels peaceful and secluded, yet it’s only a short drive from downtown Traverse City. Our kids (ages 2, 4 and 7) were completely entertained the entire trip. The stand-up paddle boards were a huge hit, and the calm, shallow waters made it super safe for them to try paddling on their own. We also loved having morning coffee on the deck, BBQ’s and bonfires with s’mores included! Inside the house, everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with family-friendly games, puzzles, and even some outdoor toys. After long days of playing in the water, we’d all gather for game nights that made for great family memories.The location is perfect for exploring wineries, cherry orchards, and hiking trails, but honestly, we were so content at the house we didn’t feel the need to leave much!If you’re looking for a relaxing, fun, and memorable vacation spot for the whole family, this lake house is it. We’re already planning to return next summer!

Amazing Location!

Awesome stay on the OM peninsula! Lots of space with all the proper amenities in-house. We were particularly happy with the comfortability in terms of sleeping options. Owner was very courteous and prompt with communication as well. Only let-down was that the hot tub wasn't operational during our tenure. Otherwise, would happily recommend to any travelers passing through.

Would Book Again!

I booked this house for a girls lake trip. This property did not disappoint! The house was laid out great for a big group. Bathrooms were a nice size for a bunch of girls getting ready to go out. Great Lake view from the kitchen and living room. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare a good dinner. The beach was lovely . You felt like you had your own private beach, great deck, and plenty of chairs. We had so much fun! We would book this again. If you’re looking for a great place to relax and soak in the beach vibes, this place is for you.

Family Vacation

This place was so beautiful and the amenities were really nice. This home made us feel very comfortable and the water and views were amazing. So many beautiful rooms to stay in and the decorating was lovely. Amanda couldn’t be nicer. They even had a nice s’more setup all prepared so all you needed was to light the firepit. My whole family loved it. We rented jetski’s for the day & had a blast! Great home to BBQ the kitchen and huge table made it easy to stay home for a day and hang out with family because in no time you feel it’s your own. I also loved the idea that there was no TV off the kitchen which made us talk more & enjoy the beach scenery. It felt like you were on the ocean, just breathtaking, coffee on the beach early morning was a must! I highly recommend this home & plan to rent it again. Thank you, Amanda - We Loved It!

Fabulous location

The location is the best! Right on the bay with beautiful sunrises and lots of water play. The house comfortably fit 8 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. There were even some empty beds! The kitchen is well equipped and we did all our cooking at the house. Thank you Mandy for your quick responses to our questions. We had a wonderful time!

Lake vacation

We had a great time. The house was large, clean, ideally situated, and very quiet. The lake views were spectacular and peaceful. Our kids loved the beach and the view from their rooms. Everything was very convenient. We would definitely return in the future.
