We understand your disappointment regarding the dock. We've also been disappointed and frustrated that things have been delayed this year due to a Pandemic. The dock should have been in by Memorial Day but the state of Michigan was closed down for over a month due to Covid-19 and the dock company could not work during that time. They tried to install the dock (as you know) on the Friday during your stay, however a part broke while they were trying to install it and they had to order a replacement part which didn't come in until Monday. The dock & mooring ball are now both installed. We were shocked to hear that there was an issue with the kitchen cleanliness. We do wish you had told us of the issue during your stay so we could have addressed it sooner. Upon further investigation, we found that the dishwasher was not working properly.  The soap dispenser was not opening so the dishes were not getting cleaned properly. We have since replaced the dishwasher with a new unit.   100% guest satisfaction is our goal and we strive to make Bay Breeze the best possible experience for our guests but the 2020 season has had us dealing with circumstances beyond our control due to a pandemic. We truly hoped you would be a little more understanding of how Covid-19 is affecting things, considering that the very event you came to Traverse City for was altered several times due to the Covid-19 concerns and you asked us to change your reservation to accommodate those changes, which we did without complaint nor additional charge.
