Recipient of the 2019 Best of Newport Beach Award for vacation home rental. Why settle for less when you can have the best? The pinnacle location in all of Newport Beach. Beautiful sunsets and awesome panoramic views await you from this Newport Beach, oceanfront location! Just steps from the Newport Pier on the boardwalk, in summer, winter, spring, or fall, this Non-Smoking, oceanfront duplex is definitely all about location, vacation, rest, and relaxation. Newly remodeled with upscale furniture and fine art. Treat yourself to million dollar views in a amazing setting.

Enjoy breakfast or a family barbecue on the huge enclosed deck of the upstairs unit in the summer and watch the dolphins swim by or on a winter's morning enjoy your view of Catalina Island. The master bedroom has a Queen-size bed with a high end Cariloha mattress, and the second room also has a queen size bed. There is a fold-up rollaway twin bed if needed. Two sets of double French doors open up to the rather large deck.

The downstairs unit Listing #430032 offers an equally amazing view to be enjoyed from a patio and on a beautiful winter's night - why not listen to the waves as you enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the woodburning fireplace. This unit offers the same sleeping arrangements as the upper unit. A sliding glass door opens up to a patio area and a barbecue right on the boardwalk. If we don't have availability in the Upper we may have in the Lower.

Walking distance from great restaurants, live music, and shops in the heart of the Peninsula. If you are looking for activities, there are plenty to choose from - boogie boarding, surfing, check out the World Famous 'Wedge,' sailing, boat rentals, whale watching, Catalina Island, the Balboa Fun Zone, Fishing, shopping at Fashion Island, and more.

This rental is just 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, 20 minutes from Disneyland, California Adventure, and a short drive from Los Angeles International Airport, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, and many other tourist attractions.

Fantastic location

We loved the location…close to everything and an easy walk out to the beach! The managers were so responsive and made it such a great stay! We wanted to extend our stay so badly! You won’t be disappointed in this place!

Great Condo - Excellent Vacation

This is our second time at this property. The location is perfect and off-street parking is a huge bonus. The condo is clean and well equipped. We'll be back again next year.

Christmas at the Beach

Awesome location to see the waves crash on the beach and watch people go by on the Boardwalk. Located at the center of Newport Beach beach life. Walking distance to pier and many good restaurants. Comfortable beds and nice kitchen made for a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Anniversary getaway

Very comfortable clean home in a perfect location. We parked our car and did not move it for 4 days, Restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Excellent communication with With Doug.. We really enjoy our anniversary, and would definitely book again. Richard and Joann

Perfect for what we needed

We used this apartment as an overflow for a family vacation. So two 20 grandsons stayed there. The place could do with sprucing up a little but it worked well for us & was a great location. Parking was a little finicky. Hard to find & is not a garage per se - just an open space. Once in the space we just left the car there. Didn’t want to come back & find space taken by someone else. Would have preferred a garage space but recognize space is at a premium at Newport Beach. Fantastic location though - had a great time

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful time in this well located 2nd floor unit. We enjoyed watching the goings on at the beach, boardwalk and pier from a roomy second floor balcony overlooking it all. Restaurants, bars and coffee shops were all within a few block radius. Furniture was comfortable, paintings of iconic Newport landmarks on the walls gave the surroundings a fun vibe. Doug was a very hands on host who was responsive when needed. We will certainly be back.

Hidden gem on the beach

Loved it! We have never walked into a cleaner property or hotel room. The host was wonderful. Answered our questions and was very kind. Kids loved the beach we strolled the down. Even our favorite board game, we sat on the deck and played. We will be back!

Paradise at the beach 🏖️

Super hot spot to stay loved the location I have stayed before and love it every time. Once you park your vehicle you don’t need to use it again. Everything is within walking distance. Restaurants bars, stores totally loved my vacation. I will be back. !!! Also, great communication with the owners I had everything I needed !!!!!

Perfect

Doug was great - super communicative and very clear and detailed check-in instructions. He was available anytime I had a quick question. His place is very clean and the location is perfect. Some nights walked to our meals and other nights we ordered in and had meals on the deck outside with the perfect view. My kids loved having the deck and beach as their backyard. This is our new spot - already booked another stay.

Wonderful Family Beach Trip

We had such a fabulous time! The location can't be beat. The view is spectacular! We saw whales, dolphins, beautiful sunrises/sunsets and amazing people watching! The access to all of the local activities, the boardwalk, beach and restaurants gave us plenty of things to do with the teens while we were there over Spring Break, even when the weather was a little chilly and windy. We were a little worried that it would be too cozy for all of us when we were stuck inside but we were pleasantly surprised as it felt pretty spacious. There is a roll-out bed which worked out great so the teens didn't have to share a bed. The property owners were incredibly accommodating and lovely to work with. Highly recommend this property!

Best Vacation Ever

My family and I stayed here for a week in late September and had an amazing time. We have two children under the age of 5 and this worked very well for our needs. We took walks on the beach and played in the sand and waves every day. There is a park a few blocks down, bike rentals with kid seats/carriers next door and endless entertainment with the surfers. The location was absolutely perfect, the condo was clean, well maintained and accurately depicted in the pohots. The beach and ocean were right our our front door. The owners were very helpful and responsive in answering my questions and getting back to me. We had friends living in CA visit during our stay and each of the 6 couples commented on what a perfect set up we had and asked for information on the condo so we have already recommended this to others. If the timing were to work out, we would definitely come back!

Location, Location, Location

We have rented this property and the sister property downstairs twice prior to this stay. The location is ideal with the Newport Pier, restaurants and shops ( especially the donut shop) steps away. We come with seven young grand children and their mothers ( our daughters) for " cousin camp". The surf is just right... Enough waves and lots of flat sand area for digging sand castles. The accommodations are not luxurious but are comfortible and practical for a family with children. My only suggestion is it would be nice to have a gas grill. The charcoal one provided takes too long to get going when you need to feed hungry kids and adults in a hurry. There are some beach chairs and sand toys provided... We bring our own. Doug and Sandy are nice people and easy to work with.

Anfitrión: Doug & Sandi Vanian

Sandi and I (Doug) got married in 1997. We lived in this beach house owned by my family for 5 years. As our family grew so did the need for additional space. We now live 10 minutes away. I'm currently CEO of the household :-) and look after the family property and my wife is a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines. We have the best of both worlds - when the property is not occupied by wonderful tenants we get to enjoy all it has to offer.
