Great for furry friends
We took a chance and went to the beach during Christmas week. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative so we cut our stay short. Very private beach! The elevator was a bonus. We opted only to use it for our luggage and other essentials for the week because none of us wanted to get stuck inside :). The walk up the stairs was LONG and not so easy for us 60 year old guests. The enclosed stairwell up to the living areas felt freezing since it was so cold outside. I do not think there is any air control in that area. The bedrooms to the left of the stairwell where also cold. We saw two thermostats in the main side but none on that side of the house but maybe we missed it? Those two bedrooms can be isolated from the rest of the home and seemed like an add on after the fact. Loved the balcony. The windows and sliders facing the ocean were blurred from sand and dirt so our view from inside was not good. Not sure if the owner/manager attempted to clean them for us but I felt they should have been cleaned before we arrived. The kitchen had all of the necessities and there was ample towels, etc. There is only 1 tv in the living room and 1 small TV in the master bedroom. Also the master bedroom only has a tub and not a shower. (bummer) The house was very clean and the bathrooms were very spacious. The #1 reason I choose this house: dog friendly. We saw many dog owners with dogs off leash on the beach.
