Great location

Great location near Thalia beach which is usually great for surfing; pretty easy walk down the street and steps to the beach or to town and restaurants both directions. Place is small but efficient and nicely renovated w/ AC. Only downsides are no beach chairs/boogie boards etc (just beach towels), but you can rent at the store behind. We would return.

Great Location

Awesome location, nice kitchen and family room. Very clean. Only one bathroom but it's big. Carport a little tight if you have a big vehicle but it works.

Excellent location, interior is not as nice as the photos, loud street noise, and very cold.

The apartment was very cold and only heated by 2 small space heaters. If both heaters were in use the breaker would occasionally flip which required going outside to reset it in order to get the electricity working again. You really can't beat the location, but we didn't look forward to going back to the rental at the end of the day. The street noise is very loud-bring earplugs. Overall, I think the space is overpriced for what you get. I doubt they will have many repeat guests. Michael, the manager was great, helpful, and easy to get in touch with.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback and very happy you loved our location. In regards to heating, we state we have 3 space heaters and to plug them in where the floor AC units are as they run on a separate breaker otherwise you could trip the breaker. We are in the process of installing central heat and will have that done by the first of the year. We did install two pane windows for the bedrooms and have not heard of any noise complaints, but we will be proactive and ensure as part of our set up to put some nice earplugs on every bed stand. Again, thank you for reviewing us as we are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience.

Too Hot

Floor roller air conditioning for the common space was designed for a room 1/3 the area. When we arrived, it was 95 degrees and it never cooled down. The bathroom door was hanging off the hinges after first use. Bathroom soap was a single sliver of hotel hand soap for three people for five days. Shampoo was a single size bottle. Chicken bone was resting on the sky light. Wold not recommend for half the price.

Hi Steve: Thank you for the comments, I’m really sorry to hear about the heat wave you experienced during your stay. Unlike most ocean units we do have AC and have not had similar complaints. We had our handy man ready to go concerning the bathroom door issue as soon as you mentioned and you called them off?? We would have been happy to drop off more shampoo and soap, we will take that into consideration in the future and appreciate that suggestion. Luckily other comments have been great and guests have enjoyed the proximity to downtown and Cleo Beach.

If you’re lucky enough!!

Ummm, location! I would describe this little slice of Laguna Beach as the perfectly made ice cream sundae. Super cute layout with comfy mattresses and a/c throughout. Great restaurants, beaches and tons of activities all within walking distance. We could’ve easily spent a week here, there’s so much to do. We especially enjoyed stepping outside and walking 3 mins to the sand for evening sunset strolls. Host was very responsive, accommodating and provided a completely stocked place. Did I mention location?! Thank you for sharing this amazing pad, we will definitely be back.

Unbelievable location…just perfect!

First off our host Mike was super helpful and responsive. This place is literally 20 yards from the Deck where we had cocktails while soaking in the beautiful sunset. Laguna Beach is just amazing! The place looks like it was newly remodeled and the owner might just be an interior designer because the place looked like it was in a magazine. Next time we come back I will try and stay here, can’t think there is a better rental in Laguna Beach at this price point. Highly recommend and thanks again for everything Mike!
