ALIHI LANI. This small, 6 unit complex is a 'Real Gem', according to the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. Enjoy endless views from our oceanfront pool. The front landscaped area also has two gas grills and comfy lawn furniture.

OCEANFRONT. Our premium second floor location has direct unobstructed ocean views is less than 50 yards from the pounding surf. Watch ocean life and spectacular sunsets from the 184 square foot covered lanai. Year-round you will see turtles and dolphins - and during whale season the show is right in front of you.

LOCATION. The Sheraton beach is located less than 5 minutes walk. There you can enjoy snorkeling, beach swimming, surf lessons, and sunbathing. Restaurants, groceries, and shopping are also within easy walking distance.

FLOOR PLAN. Our home has two true master suites, both with bathrooms directly accessible from the sleeping area. Every room has super quiet, efficient air conditioning with individual controls. The setup is ideal for two couples or a family of up to 5. Lanai, Kitchen, Dining, Living, and one Bedroom all have spectacular ocean views.

REMODELED. Furnishing and finishes are always being upgraded. Kitchen is fully remodeled. Soaking tub in remodeled bathroom, tile floors throughout living spaces, and new living room furniture.

AMENITIES. Our home is equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your vacation. It is luxuriously appointed with high quality linens and towels. Kauai-made soaps, shampoos, and lotion are provided. We also supply boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella, and a cooler for your outings. For evenings in, we have HDTV smart TV's, games, books and binoculars for whale/turtle watching. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing any type of meal.

Alihi Lani is now a 'NO SMOKING' property both inside the unit and in the common areas.

Our units are not well suited to small children. Please call or email if you plan to travel with children before making your reservation.

We loved the house and the view was amazing. Quiet and relaxing and a nice effect getaway spot with multiple great restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was immaculate upon arrival. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the view was spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked. The community was quiet and everything was in walking distance. We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning.The owner was responsive throughout the entire process. We will definitely stay at this location again.

Cynthia is the perfect host, easy to contact with any questions. The condo was one of the best that we have stayed at in Hawaii: clean and well kept and the view was incredible. We sat on the patio for hours watching for whales.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was perfect for me and two teens.The lanai was definitely the highlight. We enjoyed coffee and meals outside while watching sea turtles swim by throughout the day, and we even spotted dolphins once! It was so peaceful to spend time there. The condo was very well stocked. Cynthia provided thoughtful extras, including coffee, filters, cookies, Ziploc bags, extra paper towels, laundry detergent. There are a couple of small bins with items guests can use, take, or leave, such as sunscreen, aloe, and insect repellent - you may want to check before shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the beach gear including towels, chairs, floats, coolers, and boogie boards made beach days easy. She also paid for one day of snorkeling gear at a local shop, which was a wonderful and unexpected perk.The beds were very comfortable. A road runs between the condo and the water, but traffic was very light, and drivers were slow and respectful. People regularly walked and jogged along it, and we never found it to be an issue.Cynthia is a wonderful, responsive host. When we had an AC issue, she had it fixed the same day. We were also there during a tropical storm, and her emergency supply bin was incredibly reassuring.Overall, this condo was comfortable, convenient, well equipped, very clean, and offered unforgettable views. We would stay here again. If it’s booked, ask about the condo next door, which is also owned by Cynthia.

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay here and will definitely return. Amazing ocean views, lovely pool and terrific location. We were surprised that the master bedroom had an accordion door so it wasn’t soundproof but it was fine for our family.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your return! The views are amazing and we have a great location. To clarify, as shown in the pictures on VRBO and our website, the door between the front bedroom (not the master) has a vertiglide tropical style woven vertical door that is fully lined for privacy. It opens fully so that the ocean view from that room is maximized. It replaced a wooden louver door which is very common in Hawaii and also not soundproof and blocked half the room view. We host many 2 couple groups as well as families, who have enjoyed the layout as it is for 10+ years. We always appreciate feedback as we are continually working to improve our property for our guests enjoyment.

Peaceful Paradise

The property was far better than described… the views were breathtaking, the amenities met every need, and the hostess was more than gracious. Everything was perfect, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Heavonly views and comfortable living

The property itself is very clean and beautifully tended to both indoors and outdoors. The air conditioning made it extremely comfortable and loved the sunsets from our balcony.

Fantastic Location

This property has a incredible view of the ocean. We so enjoyed the lanai and listening to the waves. Our adult children enjoyed snorkeling nearby and the variety of nearby eating locations. We did cook most meals and the kitchen was very equipped.

Amazing Property

Perfect in every way. Location, amenities, host- this is the ideal rental. Located in walking distance to restaurants, coffee, and the beach- this is a tranquil paradise. We would not hesitate to rent again or recommend to friends

Best beach house

When they say best beach house they mean it. Perfect location, wonderful home right on the ocean. They thought of everything. Condo is supplied with all you need to have a great time. Only property on the street with a pool and only six units are huge benefits also.

Beautiful views and condo

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The unit and grounds are very clean and updated. The unit also had everything we needed as far as beach chairs, coolers etc.. Couldn’t have asked for a better view from the lanai. Cynthia is very responsive and wants to make sure your stay is perfect! We will definitely stay here again.on our next trip!

Amazing location, great property!

Views from this property are stunning from all living areas and master bedroom. We enjoyed watching the turtles right in front of the complex. Unit was well stocked and host communication was easy. We canceled a “luxury” resort reservation to book this unit when it became available and were so pleased we did! We look forward to staying here again.
