The house has incredible views with a porch overlooking the lake to enjoy them further. Gene and Mary are wonderful hosts and the area is charming with a number of family friendly activities.

When the VRBO ad. says whole house I expect the whole house. The host Iives upstairs. I want complete privacy when I stay at VRBO.The house and views were awesome. Very conveniently located to Coeur d’alene.

This is place is fabulous! The view from the deck is unbeatable and the hosts were very kind and hospitable. The house is very comfortable and was perfect for our family of 4. We would 100% recommend and will stay there again next time we are in Coeur d'Alene!

Fantastic place

Everything about this property was perfect from the house, to the stocked kitchen, to the incredible view. Owners were great and so nice making sure we had what we needed when we got there. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Fabulous deck and view!

Long time friends, three couples, met here for a relaxing weekend. We couldn't get enough of the fresh air and lovely view from the deck. This space was just right for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds are very comfortable!

Fernan Lake Gem

Location was extremely clean and comfortable. Owners did an amazing job communicating with us during our stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The views from the deck are incredible!

I may be a pessimist by nature, i usually expect things to go wrong...so I'll just write this review accordingly...First, this darn property is beautiful...I'm a little upset that i don't own it myself. The house is as described in the ad..and then some, beautifully decorated, better than any hotel i've stayed in (I travel for work and now that often fine hotel experience is ruined compared to this impressive VRBO and host)...Second, I'm equally upset that this owner is not my own neighbor... when we arrived i contacted him for something minor (asking if they had a stool we could borrow so our elderly mother could get into bed)...and i would have been fine if he didn't have one...the store isn't that far....well, he was at the door in about 5 minutes to drop one off..and we had a great chat..he made us feel incredibly welcome... View..Awesome..Hottub..Best place to relax and enjoy it...even a great BBQ place just 5 minutes away.... I'm not sure 5 stars are enough...

Fantastic place to stay, the view makes it all worth it! Glen and his wife have a lovely home that is well maintained and cared for. The home is well furnished and comfortable, four adults had ample room to spread out and relax. But we all wanted to be on the deck with the 180 deg view of Fernan Lake and Lake CDA! A much needed and very relaxing stay, looking forward to returning.

Perfect stay

Can’t wait for another vacation trip back! Great location and what a view!! Loved being up in the mountains with a view of both lakes yet only a short drive to downtown. Back deck overlooking lake is made for relaxing with some morning coffee! Highly recommend this spot. Very clean and comfortable. Glen is perfect host.

Wonderful stay on a hill overlooking Fernan Lake and Lake CDA! We even saw fireworks from the deck! The home was bright, clean, comfortable, with lovely decor and furnishings. Ideal location very close to town attractions and amenities but not in the thick of the crowds. Also well situated for the short drive to excellent bike trails— the Trail of the Hiawatha and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. The home and hot tub provided us the place we needed to rest and relax before and after our bike rides.

Amazing property and view!

The property is better than advertised. Great kitchen, three nice bedrooms, spacious family area. The deck is huge, the views are stunning. I spent a week there with my three teenage daughters and nobody wanted to go home. Great location, 10 mins to downtown CDA, would highly recommend. Hosts were very nice and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Couldn’t image a better place to stay.

Spacious With a VIEW!

3 friends and myself, had a stay over the weekend for a golf trip at The Resort. Such an amazing view from the property! Easily accessible, and close to anything you need. Glen was more than courteous, and made sure we were comfortable during the whole stay. The property was all we hoped for and more. Hopefully we can book this same location next year, or even sooner! Worth every penny!
