This is a very beautiful property! Very well maintained and a really comfortable place to stay. The View!! We really enjoyed our time here and definitely recommend this property.

We had relaxing stay in this house, we outstanding view from each room , and big, relaxing deck with hummingbirds coming to eat while you are there.

Beautiful views and close access to the Upper Iowa River! This rental has everything you could possibly need, and the owners are incredibly sweet!

Beautiful views of Decorah! So relaxing and peaceful. Host was prompt and pleasant to communicate with. House was immaculate! This just might be our new home away from home!

The property location is close to town with beautiful views and an abundance of wildlife. The house was clean, well furnished and cozy. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stay at VRBO or similar whenever we travel. I would rate this stay at the top. The home was gorgeous and the location was great. The home was spacious with a large kitchen and dining area. The living room was more than sufficient to meet our needs, and the master bedroom/master bath was awesome. The home was very clean and well kept.We watched the horses and the deer through the many picture windows on the main level of the home. I took a walk through the mini trail system on the east side of the property. I can only imagine the view if we had arrived a mere two weeks later than we did to see the color change for Autumn.Barbara, our host, was quick to reply to my messages, and the check-in/check-out process was effortless. Thanks to Barbara for a wonderful stay for our anniversary weekend.

This is a beautiful property. I feel absolutely blessed to have found it for our weekend stay for Luther graduation. The house is spotlessly clean and tidy. It has enormous floor to ceiling windows that look out over a vast rolling valley. It has a great deck that is perfect for watching the birds and other wildlife. The hallways and rooms are big and it is fully equipped with anything you could need in the kitchen! Barbara and her husband are the most gracious hosts and near by for anything you might need. Highly recommend!

The place was really clean, spacious, and convenient. The owners met us as we arrived and were really friendly. They live on the property in a house next door, so if you need anything, they are right there. The view from the top patio was breathtaking. This was more of a family place, but unfortunately, we were 3 couples with only 1 shower in the master suite, which was the main drawback. We made it work, but it would have been nice to have 1 more shower accessible to others, so we did not have to bug the couple sleeping in the master suite.

The pictures don't do the place justice. The craftsmanship of this house is beautiful. The valley views are breath taking and seeing some of the wild life was such a joy. Having a variety of birds coming to the bird feeder on the deck. Seeing deer in the field up by the house. The weather was perfect for our stay we were able to enjoy time on the deck for a glass of wine, our meals, and morning coffee. It is a countrysetting location yet still very close to go and do many things near Decorah.

Great property with beautiful views and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the occasional wildlife and birds from the property. The house is spacious, well laid out, and very comfortable. Its location is ideal, close enough to downtown for convenience, yet far enough into the countryside to enjoy the quiet and tranquility.Highly recommend.
