This cottage is BRAND NEW!

Nestled in the hills above Kachemak Bay, the Birch House cottage features stunning mountain, glacier, water views, and abundant wildlife. The ideal setting for a relaxing getaway, an Alaskan adventure or both. Close to nature with all the comforts of home.

The Birch House was constructed in 2022 and is pleasantly furnished and pristine. This cottage features a kitchen, eating area, two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), one bathroom, and a comfortable living area with a queen size sofa bed.

Our stay was awesome, wonderful n comfortable. It felt like a real vacation. Atmosphere w the way the cabin was set up was comfortable and we felt like we were home. All amenities needed was available. The owners were nice n friendly. We recommend this place 100%. Thank you for a good stay.

Birch House Stay

We had a great visit to Homer and our stay at the Birch House was perfect. It is a beautiful, clean space in a quiet area with amazing views. It was the perfect place to enjoy the magic of Homer.

Wonderful!

The kitchen was well equipped, cabin was stocked with necessary supplies, quiet neighborhood and beautiful views of the mountains and harbor. We could not have had a better stay!

This cabin is new and very well maintained. You will want to remove your shoes prior to entry and they ask that you don't clean your fish on site. That said, it was perfect for my family, with all of the conveniences of home. We loved every minute and would highly recommend Bear Canyon Cottages.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay! The property is just on the outskirts of town but an easy drive to get everywhere. The home was immaculately clean and cozy. We would definitely recommend this to all our friends.

Bear creek cabin.

Fit and finish were out standing. Hospitality was wonderful. We watched sandhill crans in yard.gave us greati formation. Very nice folks we willbestaying again.

Great Cabin Great Location

Great Cabin with Great Views. Had a great stay here. Out of town but close enough to Homer to really enjoy everything nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Owners were very helpful. Cabin had everything we needed. Thank You, Linda Tillamook, OR

Great cabin and beautiful views

Clean and well stocked with all things you may need while you stay. The cabin is adorable and perfectly close to the spit. The view of the bay was stunning from the porch. Thanks for the stay!

Great Family Getaway!

I stayed here with my family of 5 and we had a great time. The place is new, clean, and has everything you need. The front yard is a large mowed field where we enjoyed playing frisbee and the kids enjoyed running around. The house is close to everything in Homer and also has a gorgeous view. Communication and check-in/out was easy. I hope to stay here again and would recommend this VRBO highly. Thanks!
