Welcome to TwinMaple Cottage in Bayfield Wisconsin! Our 1,500 sq ft home is about a 5 min drive from downtown Bayfield with a great view of Lake Superior and Madeline Island.

You'll find a cozy living space with a full kitchen and dining area, large deck, and a fire pit surrounded by woods. You can see the lake from our living room and kitchen - making for a great place to relax and appreciate the view.

Enjoy this quiet neighborhood only minutes from shops and restaurants in downtown Bayfield, WI.

The entire cleaning fee goes directly to the cleaner as she is careful to ensure our home is clean upon your arrival.

Great location, view and amenities!

This was our first trip to Bayfield. We had 4 adults and a dog. The property was very nice, clean and quiet. In the mornings, I enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking my coffee watching boats on Lake Superior and at night, making hotdogs and s'mores on the fire pit.

Perfect Place

We absolutely loved this beautiful home. It was spotless and wonderfully decorated. This home has everything you could think of to meet your needs. Maryann has thought of every last detail. It was a cozy and relaxing stay and we can’t wait to return next year. Seriously, this was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. It was great.

Cottage near Bayfield

This property is a quick ride into Bayfield and has a beautiful view of the lake. It is very well stocked and clean. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty space for parking. Although it was just my husband and myself, it is a great place for children. I gave 4 stars for location only because there was no way to walk into town except the unsafe highway.

Great Friend Getaway

Highly recommend this place! The location is perfect and the scenery is gorgeous. Everything was there that we could possibly need for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the whole vibe of the house was very cozy and welcoming 😊 We loved sitting on the deck and playing games and having a fire at night. Will definitely be back next time I decide to come to Bayfield!

Excellent location and easy bike to Bayfield. Short walk to Adventure Brewing. Well stocked with every amenity and supplies! Great patio with view of Lake Superior, great firepit! Excellent communication with owner.

Gem of a Property!

Such a nice, comfortable little house. Impeccably clean. Very nicely furnished and the kitchen had literally everything one would need to cook any type of meal. We enjoyed the outdoor deck with the view of Madeline Island and the location, while secluded, is less than five minutes from downtown Bayfield. The shed/porch was very convenient for storing our bikes and outdoor gear. With lovely weather, we biked, sailed, played golf, kayaked and enjoyed three concerts at Big Top Chataqua. Highly recommend Twin Maples!

absolutely perfect

A perfect place with a lovely view of Lake Superior with easy access to highway 13. Lots of great berry and apple ranches nearby as well as lovely Bayview, Ashland and more. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and living room furnished comfortably.

Beautiful cottage with a view of Lake Superior

This is a really lovely, spacious, clean property with everything you could possibly need or want. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were modern. The view from the front of the house is bucolic and peaceful with aview of the lake. It is only 5 minutes to downtown Bayfield. The owner Maryanne is so nice and very easy to deal with.

Fantastic

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The home was clean and cozy and VERY accommodating. I really appreciated the stocked kitchen and coffee bar. It saved us so much time and money on groceries that we never would have finished. We loved being in close proximity to Bayfield, but appreciated the privacy that this home provided. And THE VIEW! WOW. I would absolutely book another stay at this home. Thank you so much for the great stay!

This property has every accommodation you can think of! It is super clean and comfortable. I can't say enough positive things about this location. Highly recommended. If I visit the area again, this is where I will stay. The host was super responsive to questions and has thought of everything guests may need. If in the Bayfield area, this is where you want to stay.

Peaceful and Clean Bayfield Stay

Upon arrival the house was even better than described and was equipped with everything you could think of, even coffee and tea! The location was amazing - close to town but far enough away to have a private peaceful stay. The views of the lake were great for morning coffee on the deck. Our dog Gilbert loved the space and yard as much as we did! Overall, this was one of the nicest rental homes we’ve stayed in. MaryAnn was very communicative and accommodating!

Absolutely Perfect in EVERY Way

Our stay was an absolute blessing! The cottage was perfectly maintained; tastefully decorated; meticulously clean/organized; and generously stocked. So many special touches: comfy and beautiful bed/linens, artesian water, lovely art! The view was amazing! We watched the ferry and the sun’s breathtaking glow in the mornings/evenings. Despite the rainy weather we enjoyed exploring quaint and historic Bayfield and the surrounding area: galleries; farm stores/bakeries; the maritime museum; and the best breakfast at Manypenny Bistro. We lazed at the cottage, reading; and enjoyed cooking in the wonderful kitchen and grilling. Most of all, we can’t thank enough, our incredible host MaryAnn. She clearly loves her cottage; and is passionate about sharing it with her guests – including the furry ones! We’ll forever treasure every memory; hope to return; and fully recommend the wonderful Twin Maples Cottage.

As we drove into the driveway it was evident that our Host had portrayed the property accurately but we didn’t expect the view to be so amazing; the outdoor spaces to be so relaxing; and the indoor spaces to be so perfect and comfortable. We’d recommend this experience to anyone!

Perfect quiet getaway

The house was perfectly located just a couple minutes drive outside of Bayfield which made it convenient. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The beds were super comfy. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. We have a wonderful stay!

A Great Vacation House

The location of the house was terrific...great view of the lake...not far from Bayfield...many hiking trails nearby. The host provided all the little things that made our stay very comfortable.

Very nice, great view!

Very clean, owner has thought of everything. Wanted for very little. Owner may want to check refrigerator door, it has to consciously be shut, may be able to swing shut on it's own.
