Mountain therapy awaits at Skyview Station, a 3-story Log Cabin with lavish leather furnishings, end-of-road seclusion, private loop trail, and views of North GA mountains. Remodeled with cozy upscale furnishings and modern amenities specifically for a larger family or group mountain vacation, the cabin provides plenty of room with 2,700 sf, 6 beds, smart TVs, speedy internet, stocked kitchen, theatre, game room, gas fireplace, firepit, gazebo, wraparound porch and BBQ Grill. The upstairs loft is HUGE, with a 2nd living room and ENCLOSED King primary suite and private balcony.
After an adventure-filled day in nearby towns, the kids can play a game of pool, ping pong or Wii (or their own gaming system), watch a movie in the theatre room, while the foodies whip up dinner with a fully stocked kitchen or grill out on the BBQ. Relax with beautiful vistas and a glass of wine from a local winery or local craft beer, or have some private time swinging, share stories, laughs and moonshine around the fire pit and gazebo area.
--- The Property ---
✔VIEWS Beautiful year-round views of the North Georgia mountains from main level front porch, 3rd floor loft and private balcony off master suite have these mountain views + views of the field beyond the Nottely River, views of gazebo, fire pit and garden area with solar lights in evenings, and views of the garden area from every bedroom
✔GAZEBO l FIRE PIT l GARDEN BRIDGE AREA Gentle walk down to the large fire pit, gazebo, garden area, 4 Adirondack chairs & 2 large benches for seating, 2 Cedar rocking chairs & table made from a TN woodcarver
✔PRIVATE LOOP TRAIL We have out own private loop trail! It's short but rugged, starts right off of the garden bridge area, goes down the property and loops around, ending at entrance to fire pit/gazebo. Green markers mark the trail.
✔END OF ROAD PRIVACY Yes, we're in a nice, normal neighborhood, but you can't tell because our cabin is located at the end of the road, nice and private.
✔TERRAIN The cabin is spread out over 3 levels on a 1.5-acre property surrounded by trees. The unique location is at the end of the road, which means you will have full privacy and won't be disturbed by neighbors while you relax while you enjoy the views. Unlike most mountain spots, our land doesn't 'drop off' with no ability for family to spread out or children to play; instead, the usable land on the property provides ample space for the family to roam around without any restrictions. You can even access the private loop trail, which starts and ends at the gazebo and fire pit area. We have enough space for parking several cars, including under-building parking on the base level with inside access to the 1st level.

OUR STORY
We met at Ft. Sam Houston, TX during Army medic training. A quick courtship, marriage the following year and lots of traveling landed us in Tampa Bay, Florida to start a family and careers as a firefighter (Dave) and Realtor (Maria). We started vacationing in Murphy in 2007 after we won a bid for a cabin rental during a church fundraiser. We absolutely fell for the area that summer, so we came back to that cabin (and others in the area) on many trips through the years, with not only our children, but also with extended family, friends, and alone as a couple.
As of summer 2022, we have 2 cabins close to each other, each with it's own personality, vibes and experiences. Our girls are now in high school and college, and each of them have labored with us on their "vacation" time to help bring these cabins to life. We are proud the work that our family has put into each and hope that you love them as much as we do!

Por qué eligió esta propiedad
Living in busy Tampa Bay we had talked for YEARS of owning a 2nd home in Murphy, so during the shutdown of 2020 we bought our 1st family cabin, Woods Upon a Time, a cozy 2/2 with pond view. Our 'family getaway' needed lots of TLC however, so Dave lovingly spent months with his time off remodeling. Then a major career opportunity came knocking, which meant vacation time adjustments. Rather than have the cabin sit empty for most of the year, we decided to share with others to build your own memories. In 2021 we bought the 4 acre property in front, which included the pond.
Fast forward to spring 2022, when an opportunity presented itself for a large log cabin chalet, not only with mountain views but only 1.5 mile away from Woods, and so much potential for FUN! So, once again, we remodeled and Skyview Station was born.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad
What makes our property unique is the beautiful Japanese-inspired garden area, both in the front and back. It's the last thing that you expect to see in the middle of the mountains, and it was one of the features that 'WOW'ed us when we first drove into the property. And oh my gosh, the DRIVE coming in to the cabin is another 'WOW'; not only are we at the end-of-the road, but when you drive thru our private gate, and sit at the top of our hill, the scenery just takes your breath away. It's the cabin, the expansive mountain views, the garden and the circular driveway. Just gorgeous. We loved it even before we stepped inside our 1st time!
End-of-the-privacy means that you don't wake up and see a "sea" of other cabins, which is prevalent in so many other neighborhoods. We are so fortunate.
We have a short, rugged private loop trail on site, courtesy of the previous owner. To honor his vision and labor in designing and carving this cool feature out, we've named it "Michael's Loop."
The cabin has all new furnishings and furniture in summer 2022 and the entire downstairs has been remodeled to add amenities specifically for a family's mountain vacation. The gazebo and fire pit area are warm and inviting
