Enjoy all that historic St. Ignace has to offer in style. Beautiful newly-rebuilt home sits at the top of Truckey Street with views of Lake Huron from nearly every window in the house. Enjoy sunrises with a cup of coffee on the porch swing and watch the ferry boats travel in and out of Moran Bay to quaint Mackinac Island. Walk to downtown shops, events, and picnic on the beach. Then, come home to a fully functional kitchen with gorgeous poured countertops and grill out on the back patio. Truly a remarkable way to make family memories with the best views in the entire area!

This place was great! Fabulous location! Totally recommend! The only drawback was the security cameras that make you feel like you’re being watched 24/7.

Wonderful vacation house that fit our party of 9 comfortably. Location was perfect for walking to the ferry for Mackinac Island as well as restaurants and bars. The house had plenty of amenities and the porch was great to sit out on!

We enjoyed staying here. It’s very convenient to everything in the small downtown area, including the marina and a number of restaurants. The Mackinac ferry boats were very close by also. The house was very clean, well cared for, and nicely remodeled. Neighborhood was quiet, and we could see the fireworks on Saturday from the front porch.

The property is located within walking distance to the marina, ferry, and most shops and restaurants in St. Ignace. We were only an hour drive from most all the sights on the eastern half of the UP. Property was clean, well maintained, and comfortably housed 4 adults and 2 children.

Great location, was perfect for our needs

Cozy with a great view

We had a comfy stay in paradise. The porch has a great view, where we could watch the fireworks. The hosts had great communication and we had everything we needed. We will look for this one again in the future.

Great location!

House was very comfortable for 9 people. Location is amazing, close to downtown and the lake and walking distance to the Mackinac Island ferry. House was clean, well stocked, communication was great with owners, beds and sofa were very comfortable. Nice porch with swing. Would definitely come back.

Great location and plenty of sleeping spaces

Spacious rooms, plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies, big refrigerator, plenty of towels and linens, good internet access - everything we needed. Also, the porch swing was a favorite place. The listing photos were accurate.The owners were very quick to respond to questions and had a very good check in process.

Perfect location

Exactly as described, very clean and homey. Location was the best we could have asked for. We walked to eat, shop and board the ferry for the island. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely recommend!

Great home and a lovely location overlooking the lake. Walkable to both ferry companies to Mackinac Island. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Though we didn’t stay in to do any cooking, the kitchen has everything one would need to make up a meal. Great touch to provide the bedding and plenty of bath towels too. Would highly recommend.

Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The property was close to town which made shopping and eating out easy. The fireworks display that took place on a Saturday night was a nice surprise. All we had to do was sit on the front porch and enjoy the show.

Family Togetherness

The accommodations were comfortable and well-supplied for our stay - very spacious for our family. We appreciated the location - close to the local church, ferry, the downtown shopping and the cultural/historical offerings. If you have any ties to Marquette University or High School, Pere Marquette Park and Memorial is within walking distance.

Beautiful, easy to find home. The description of the property is very accurate. The communication with the host was top notch. All my questions were answered in a timely and accurate manner. We will be staying here again next time we come up!

lovely home away from home

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. The home has been newly remodeled with new furnishings and appliances. It is spacious and accommodated our group of 8 very easily. It is located walking distance from shops, restaurants, and the boardwalk. The property owners are so easy to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous House close to down town

What a great and updated place to stay so close to down town St. Ignace! This house had everything you could ever need. Great space for everyone in our party. Perfect front porch swing to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and any passing boats. Just a quick walk to down town to get fudge and ice cream, 2 important things to indulge in while staying in the UP.

Awesome Location and Lots of Beds

We had 5 adults and 3 kids. The beds accommodated our large group nicely and the property is walking distance to so many points of interest on St. Ignes. The house is newly renovated and had everything our group needed to enjoy our time. We did a day in Mackinac Island, a day to Lake Superior, and a day putzing around St. Ignace. We spent a lot of time on the front porch just enjoying family time. The host was prompt, kind, and easy to communicate with.

Mid winter getaway

Wow! What a place! It is almost a brand new with a nice layout. We brought a group of 6 adults and found the kitchen well stocked with cooking pots and other things. We used the front room pretty extensively to hang out and play cards. The house is located conveniently in the Center of St Ignace but has a beautiful view of the bay. Hosts do a good job communicating. We would love to stay there again.
