Experience the charm of Walloon Lake Village in our beautiful, cozy cabin in one of the most beautiful areas in Northern Michigan complete with a secluded backyard to relax with campfire, hammock, hot tub and space for yard games within walking distance from three restaurants, park with pickle ball and play ground, river for fishing, beach, Walloon General Store and million dollar sunsets. Hiking and 4x4 trails are minutes away as well. Snowmobile trail access is across the street. Located less than 10 minutes from Boyne City and Petoskey. Pets are welcome for a fee.

We thought the cottage was absolutely amazing. Even though we only had one night it was still a beautiful place to stay. Hopefully next year we can spend some more time there.

This is the most charming cozy cabin!! We stayed in the area for a boat show, it’s close to town (walking distance if you wanted). Very clean and super comfortable! David and Jenny (our hosts) were awesome!! They checked in and were responsive in a timely manner to any questions we had (suggestions to things to do in the area)!! Looking forward to coming back!!!

This property was absolutely beautiful and so cozy! The house was very clean and we were welcomed with a chocolate bar on the nightstand. There is an abundance of useful items such as the kitchen utensils, grill utensils, towels, umbrella, etc. The hot tub was a plus and is secluded in the backyard. The house is only a 5 minute walk from Walloon Lake and a 13 minute drive from downtown petoskey.

Easy check in and out, great heating and house layout for our family, straight shot to Boyne skiing (10min), good backyard for our dog, cute downtown within walking dist, and frozen lake for good walking/play area.

This was a cozy spot for a romantic long weekend getaway! Property was well-stocked. The location was handy for the making the most of winter in Michigan (skiing, snowshoeing).

We really enjoyed being so close to town and the quaint cottage vibes this VRBO provided. The owner’s were top notch on communication and availability. Our only drawbacks were quite a few bugs found inside the home (there were gaps to the outside in the window AC units that we used towels to fill in), no curtain on the bathroom window (we used paper towel and painter’s tape to provide privacy during our stay), and we were really excited to use the fire pit and comfy looking lounge area in the front of the home, but after uncovering them, it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile and were covered with pollen, spiders, and other debris. We pivoted and did s’mores over the stovetop, but wish the outside furniture would have been a little more user-ready for our stay.

My girlfriend, golden retriever and I all had a wonderful time here. The hosts were very nice, quick to respond, and helpful with suggestions in the area. The cabin was clean and cozy plus being able to taking our golden with made it all so simple and welcoming. And after a long day of skiing who can pass up a well-kept hot tub. For us, it was perfect for our ski trip to Boyne Mtn.

Host was great, very communicative. The home is cozy and perfect for 4-5 people. Amenities were great, I really appreciated having access to do laundry. Perfectly located, highly recommend Barrelback in Walloon for a place to eat. 10 minute easy drive to Boyne Mountain. I highly recommend this cabin.

Soccer tourny weekend with my daughter and I decided against a hotel and do something fun like this instead! Communication was great, David really made sure everything went smoothly and to reach out if we needed anything. The cabin was in a great location, about 10 minutes from all the things in Petoskey. It was also around the corner from a lake, which had a general store, park, little sandy beach, restaurants. Just a cute area to visit as well. I love the cozy log cabin feel! Super clean and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings, surrounded by trees and hanging lights. It was a great way to relax and unwind after our busy day. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, it was a wonderful weekend!
