Didn't want to write this review, but guy was rude enough to prompt it. Place isn't clean, simple as that. Holes in the walls, carpets stained, kitchen like a frat house (half empty nyquil bottles, no paper towel, every pot dirty, cabinets and fridge dirty). There were 2 smoke alarms chirping and we couldn't seem to figure out where it was. I didn't stay even one night because my father and I weren't comfortable to stay even after a 10 hr drive. I asked if we could get a partial refund and I would pay for at least a 1 night stay. He refused and told me a whole bunch of stuff like I'm a type of person to take pictures and complain, or that I shouldn't expect such high standards, I'm not familiar with vrbo, I should have read the reviews and it's on me (thought at least the smoke alarms would be fixed 2 guests ago), told me I got a deal, accused me that I am threatening him to leave a bad review if I don't get a refund (I explained I didn't want that at all, I thought it would give him a chance to fix the issues for the next guest), etc etc. (By the way I do have pictures because vrbo requested that I do send them in). I go to little rock area every other week so I am familiar with vrbo and I'm not expecting perfection. I help my parents manage their rentals ane in short; I've cleaned and prepped rentals my entire life so it felt like staying in a place someone just moved out of. I tried to explain my concerns on the phone with the host. I'm sure he will discredit my claims.
