Everything was excellent! The outdoor furniture needs to be updated. The house was very clean. Close to the beach, we had the pool all to ourselves for the whole week, but it does need some cleaning improvements and pool chairs.

Everything was great. Walk to the beach was only about 7 minutes and the beach is leash friendly with your dog. Easy access and the owners were easy to communicate with. We had a great 4 days staying there.

Walking Distance to Beach and Restaurants

Townhouse was very clean and comfortable within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. It was exactly as described and photos are accurate. I would stay here again.

Cozy place, just what we needed

We had to reserve a place quick for 6 people and our dog. It was just what we needed! It was tidy and had many amenities that made our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend! *I do recommend bug spray as the mosquitoes were bad in the patio area.

A good time

We were happy to stay and the family had a good time. You could tell that the property was constantly being maintained, as it was an older townhome. Everything was pretty clean and kept. Thanks again!

Just as pictured

Very nice. Walked in welcomed with all basics needed to get us going laundry, dish soap, basics, and a cute little thing of snacks! Walking distance to restaurants and activities. 2 minute drive to the convention center. Welcome center next door perfect area for our pets to play in grass. We pretty much had the pool to our self most of the time. We short walk to the beach in the evenings. Easy drive over pay to park areas during the day when it’s too hot to walk to beach! Highway noise not super noticeable. Down fall….when you are outside you do get hungry for the yummy steak smell at the Carolina Roadhouse! We ate there twice. In once and take out another! Would recommend.

A functional stay

This location was clean and nicely decorated. It was close to the beach and convenient to restaurants and stores. The front door was extremely difficult to open and close and I was traveling with my parents who were in their 80's. The refrigerator was in need of updating since it was missing the bottom rack on the door and the bottom drawers were cracked. We had an issue with the downstairs toilet leaking but the hosts responded and fixed the issue within a couple of hours. The back porch needed a little TLC since it was covered with leaves and the furniture needed some cleaning off. Overall the place met our needs and we enjoyed our vacation.

Good location

This rental served a purpose however it definitely needs some TLC. The volume of leaves on the porch and the condition of the cushions were not appealing. The ice maker does not work so we had to buy ice (not a huge deal however it was noted as broken by another reviewer prior to us). The shower “spout” is about to fall off and other “little” things that would have given this unit a better rating. (Fix door knobs, have proper wifi password listed etc. lastly they may want to invest in a new couch. The one in the unit is not very comfortable.

Complaints about our stay

The place was okay but we were not happy with several things. When we first got there we saw there was not a working ice maker and no ice trays. After having no success with getting the ice maker to work we had to go buy ice trays. We decided to watch some TV and none of the remotes worked. We replaced batteries and that wasn't the problem. My son was finally able to get a few stations on a phone app. There was no DVR so we went to buy one because it was constant rain. Hurricane Debby had stalled over us(totally not the fault of anyone) and it rained for 5 days. It would have been nice to at least have a DVR. Also, there wasn't many items for us. There was 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels so I had to go to Walmart to replace a lot. There were only 4 towels for 4 people so I had to do laundry constantly. (It stated that there were 5 people staying but we had only 4) My son had changed that right after we booked so I hope we weren't charged for 5. Maybe this is what is acceptable for you but not for us. In the past we have used Vacasa and have been pleased so we will stick with them.

Not sure why the guest left us 3-stars. There was little to no communication, and zero issues were reported during or after their stay.
