Unwind at this stunning cottage with breathtaking sunset views overlooking the tidal marsh. The house was lovingly built with wood floors and ceilings and is reminiscent of a ship. Antique details make for a luxurious and charming feel. The house is located on the tidal marsh of the basin, where you can spot various migratory birds and enjoy a peaceful afternoon listening to the waters on one of 3 decks with ample seating.

Absolutely gorgeous property and a front row seat to some amazing wildlife sightings. It’s a super clean space with plenty of room while still feeling homey! The host responded to any questions in a timely manner in great detail. We couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Gorgeous views of the salt marsh! Spacious, clean & conveniently located near the beach & amenities on Plum Island. Also felt private at the end of a quiet street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely come back!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Blue Moon Cottage. The environment was peaceful with beautiful sunset views. The cottage itself was very comfortable for us with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The kitchen was very functional. We prepared all of our meals as there are very limited nearby options for eating out. But, we had exactly the rejuvenating experience that we were hoping for.

Perfect Rental

The cottage was adorable, spotless and missing nothing. We especially loved the decks, where we spent a good deal of our weekend. The owner made sure we were settled and was available to answer any questions that came up; she was kind and helpful. We highly recommend this sweet cottage.

Magical place!

We loved our time in this special house. The view from the back was perfect for coffee and afternoon cocktails. Easy walk to the “secret” beach and even closer walk to the sunset club and other eating establishments. Our family had a great time here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. We can’t wait to go back!

This is our fourth summer staying at Blue Moon Cottage. We love the house and its surroundings. Having coffee in the morning on the deck is so peaceful. Egrets and a blue heron are among some of the many birds who come to visit. Sunsets are spectacular from one of the house's three decks. The master bedroom is beautiful with a king size bed, a stained glass window, and windows all around the room that let in the salty marsh air. The master bathroom is beautiful and conveniently has a washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one is a loft bedroom. The second bedroom upstairs has its own deck. Another aspect of the house that we love is the outdoor shower. The view of the marsh is spectacular and the proximity to the beach (less than a mile walk) make the house a perfect fit for us. The owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns. I look forward to coming back again next summer.

Witchy Weekend

My girlfriends and I stayed mid October for a relaxing girls weekend. We got exactly what we wanted! Great location and plenty to do nearby. Planning to come back with my family in the Summer to enjoy a different season!

Cozy Cottage

Our small group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Moon Cottage. The kitchen area and large table easily accommodated us and the kitchen was well appointed for us to enjoy dinner and breakfast times together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The decks with plenty of seating to enjoy the views of the marsh and sunsets were perfect too. We llook forward to returning soon!

Sweeping Marsh Views

This was our second visit to Blue Moon Cottage. The views from the home and many decks are stunning. Wonderful secluded privacy being at the end of the road on the marsh. The home is easy to enjoy with a small group or family with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. We will be back to enjoy this lovely cottage again.

Family vacation

Everything about our stay at the Blue Moon cottage was incredible. The sunsets at night that we could see from any of the three decks were spectacular. The master bedroom has a pane of stained glass and many windows that let in the incredible air at night. The master bathroom has a nice washer/dryer set. The house itself has three showers, one of them outside. We loved everything about the house. The owners responded quickly whenever we had a question. We did not want to leave.

Blissful Blue Moon Cottage

This is our second summer staying at Blue Moon Cottage. The house’s three decks face the marsh, and are great places to have morning coffee and watch the sunset. In the mornings, we often saw a blue heron and egrets. We love the peacefulness of the marsh, but we also love the ocean. The beach is less than a mile from the house. The master bedroom is perfect- lots of windows make it easy to enjoy the fresh air at night. There is a washer/dryer in the master bathroom. If you like outdoor showers, you’re in luck. We love this house and its surroundings.. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Spectacular Stay!

We have stayed on Plum Island many times, and this was absolutely our favorite rental. Communication with the owner and check-in/check-out were seamless. Upon pulling up to the property, we were struck by its quaintness, and then once we entered the home, we could see how much work was put into updating it. The first floor master suite is large and gorgeous, kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the upstairs space works well for four additional people. Now the view... it's just incredible and the outdoor spaces are perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Usually on vacation, we might turn on the TV in the evening, but the TV never went on because the view was so gorgeous. We were mesmerized. Don't hesitate to rent this property. We will definitely return!

Loved our stay, however shades on bedroom windows would be preferred. Very very light at 5:30am. Also a full length mirror somewhere. Unless we missed it. Otherwise great stay! We really enjoyed our time at Blue Moon Cottage. Thank you!
