This big, beautiful house is right on the beach. Many amenities are provided and the host responds promptly to any and all questions. My family loves the location. The gentle waves and a steady breeze make the beach days a pleasure.

We would definitely stay here again and again. The house is beautiful, clean, well stocked and spacious enough for the whole family. The view of the beach cannot be beat. And the beach- just a short walk from the house and the beach is practically your private oasis. Communication with the host is excellent. Top notch experience!

Great house right on the bay. Plenty of room for 2 couples. Close to Milton and Lewes with lots of great dinner choices, as well as Rehoboth which is a real cool beach town. Highly recommend the stay to others!!

Beachfront Tranquility was absolutely perfect! We had a fantastic week on Broadkill Beach which is perfect for families with little ones. The house looks just like the photos in the listing. We were so lucky to be there on July 4 and could see multiple fireworks displays from the upper balcony. Our 2 year old granddaughter loved all the toys in the house and playing with the sand toys at the beach. There was great communication with Tess before and during our stay. Just a great place for family beach vacation! Thank you!

You cannot go wrong with renting "Beach Tranquility". Everything you need is supplied. The view is fantastic, nature is abundant and the beach is excellent. Tess the owner communicates quickly. This was our second time renting and will definitely rent again.John H. and family

This is a terrific house, right on the beach, with spectacular views indoors and out. It was very clean and comes with everything, linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. It is bright, cheerful and tasteful. The kitchen is outstanding and well stocked. The sun porches and deck are beautiful places to relax and enjoy. Tess is a responsive and lovely host. We’ve stayed at other properties in the area and this is by far the best. We definitly will be back!

We spent a week at this beautiful property with two other couples. The location is perfect. The house is spotless and everything from the appliances to the furniture/decor is high end. Everything is so organized. Tess is very responsive and helpful with advice on restaurants, etc. Hoping to return.

Our family really enjoyed this home. The house is well maintained, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and comfortable. The owners get an A for all the additional amenities - play area and toys and accessories for children; extra bedding; beach chairs/umbrellas/wagon/life vests and more; kitchen tools and equipment; etc. They really have thought of everything. We only had to bring our clothes and food.The home is on a private beach - and it truly is. There are no crowds - just horseshoe crabs! It was such a relaxing vacation for all of us. The owners were very attentive - responding quickly to all of my questions. They truly wanted us to enjoy their home and were very welcoming. We appreciated the opportunity to rent this home. Thank you!

Tess is an amazing host. On the occasions that we needed her assistance, she was prompt and efficient. This house is perfect for families. We were a family of three couples and one single (no kids) and everyone felt their accommodations were roomy, clean, and accommodating. (Would not hesitate to bring the grandkids—when we have grandkids). The description of the house is accurate: we were right on Broadkill Beach with a man made wooden path of maybe 30 yards taking us right to the ocean. Be aware, this is a private beach so no lifeguards and no services. It is sparsely populated so we were able to spread out our belongs-chairs, umbrellas, corn hole, coolers etc. DoorDash delivers from all local businesses so the seclusion was not an issue. We drove into Lewes one night (25 minute drive) and rehobeth one night (35 minute drive) for excellent dinners. Finally, without hesitation, each of us left after a week hoping to return next year.

This spotless house was idyllic if you are hoping for a tranquil location with breathtaking sunrise views. It is situated right on the beach, so we were lucky enough to watch dolphins right from the dinner table the very first night we arrived! The house is fully stocked with cooking utensils, linens, blankets, pillows, along with tons of games and a lovely selection of reading materials. The views are fabulous from every aspect of the house including the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and decks. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, as are the couches in all the lounge areas. There was a kayak and a large paddle board for our use, along with life jackets, plenty of beach chairs and towels, and a wagon to tow it all. There was even chopped wood for a seaside campfire at night, which was a first for my family! And if you are a fan of bird watching, you won’t be disappointed as there was a huge assortment of birds that kept us entertained including hummingbirds, sandpipers, and ospreys just to name a few. There are quite a few stairs to climb, so my elderly mother had to take her time as stairs are difficult for her, but she said every step was well worth it as the views are fabulous. The owners are extremely conscientious of any concerns and replied within moments to our complete satisfaction. Overall, we loved every moment spent in this beautiful home and can’t wait to go back.

Family Beach Vacation

We loved our stay here in broadkill for the second year in a row. Tess and Andy were extremely responsive to everything we needed and the house is perfect for our family. Very relaxing and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Fantastic Place!

Our family of 11 had a great stay at this property. Perfect location and a well equipped and very clean house easily able to accommodate our large group. The owner, Tess, was very quick to respond to our questions.

Paradise on the bay

Wonderful beach house

The house was absolutely amazing, we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for our family to spend quality quiet time but close enough to Lewes and Rehoboth to enjoy some restaurants. The owners are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure the stay goes well. A perfect beach house for a family vacation!

Great relaxing vacation!!

We had an amazing vacation. Best location for the private beach and the house was amazing. Fit our entire family of 12 people with ranging ages and Tess was very attentive and responsive to all of our needs! Would definitely come back.

Beautiful, peaceful setting and a lovely house.

We have stayed at Beachfront Tranquility for 3 summer vacations, and it has been great each time. The setting is perfect, right on a peaceful, beautiful beach. The house is very spacious and comfortable, and the owners are very nice and easy to deal with. Overall, a perfect summer vacation location!
