We understand how uncomfortable and frustrating it must have been to spend the majority of your stay without a properly functioning A/C, especially during a beach vacation. Lee, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. Shore Thing is a very welcoming family home, so it saddens us to hear it was anything less than perfect for you. We understand how frustrating it can be to arrive at a unit that isn't in tip-top shape. This is why we offered a reclean for you in which you declined. We always aim to resolve any matters a guest may have promptly, and we did just that when we came and tightened the oven door. We also took the time to check the doors which were working perfectly fine, as well as the toilets which flushed with no issues. We are very happy to say that we have a vendor scheduled to repair the ice maker, so all matters will be resolved soon. Thank you for your patience and communication regarding your concerns. We truly hope you and your party will give us another opportunity to offer you the 5-star stay you would expect from a company like ours.
