Looking for a peaceful place to enjoy nature after your day at the beach look no farther. Enjoy our newly renovated, air conditioned two-bedroom home with beautiful views of a tidal river. Relax while sitting on your deck with a beverage as you watch all the costal wildlife. Take a kayak out of the front yard into the tidal river or just enjoy hanging out in your fully equipped 2BR condo. If you want to explore further, the quaint coastal towns of Portsmouth NH and Newburyport MA are each 20 minutes away. A short distance to area bars, restaurants, Hampton Beach nightlife and the Casino Ballroom.

Greatest Vacation Ever

Everything was perfect ... the rental was exactly as pictured and more .... it felt like home! Cozy, clean and comfortable the rental far exceeded our wildest expectations. The beds were amazing and after providing a solid night of restful sleep one woke to the wonder of sunlight awakening oneself to another wonderful day. The wildlife sightings only added to the completeness of perfection. Would highly recommend" ONCE UPON A TIDE" and be sure to say Hi to the Bodi dog!!!!

Welcoming

Stayed for a few days while visiting family. The place was spotless and comfortable. Tina was very responsive to questions I had. When I arrived I noticed there was not a drip coffee maker. There was a keurig, a kettle and also a french press which given that I like ground coffee would work fine. After mentioning this to Tina, the next day a new drip coffee maker arrived. Would rent again

Perfect quick getaway

We had an amazing. Tina and her husband were so easy and accommodating. The unit was exactly what we expected an extremely clean and well put together. They set up the fire put for us one night. All and all we enjoyed our stay so much and are going return for sure.

Peaceful Beach Retreat

This is a beautiful, 2 bedroom condo that was hard to leave. The home is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. Tina and Jim are excellent hosts and had a wonderful basket full of goodies on the counter along with a personalized welcome greeting and card waiting for us. The deck overlooks a large pond and tidal creek and there is big lawn with a fire pit for cooler evenings. We would definitely stay there again. Larry & Sherri

Beautiful week end

At our arrival , Onwers were on site and took the time to chat with us and went over site with us , very friendly . Outside and interior very clean and well kepted . Owners live on site and if you need something close by to help . Outside fireplace and BBQ etc … excellent

Tranquility

We needed a tranquil and peaceful location and this was it. Having coffee on the deck was serene, it was close to town and beach if needed and good restaurants are near by. Very clean and picture perfect. I would highly recommend and the owners are very nice people.

Great Location and Homey

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owners. The property was very inviting, clean and nicely decorated. We were welcomed with a goody basket. They gave us very good suggestion on restaurants to eat at our 1st evening. It is not far to travel to cities north and south of location.

Peaceful lovely accomodations

Home away from home. Clean, airy and comfy with everything we needed. Close to the beach and many attractions. Enjoyable view overlooking the salt marsh frequented by many birds. Warm and friendly hosts.

Perfect stay

Clean, 8 minutes from North Beach, all the utilities including beach equipment ( chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc). Very quiet and friendly environment. Very nice hosts. Thank you!

Nice Place

Title says it all. Owners readily available. Nice neighborhood and view around the house. Beach food and boardwalk minutes away. No complaints at all. Would recommend. Note that the porch has some steps you must climb to enter the residence. Not a negative, just an observation.

Tranquil paradise close to everything!

Our family of 3 stayed for 4 nights. Tina was so welcoming and hospitable, she even left a welcome basket of treats to get us started. The property is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The outdoor ‘toys’ for the beach were a real plus (wagon, chairs, umbrella, etc.) as well as the outdoor shower to wash off the day at the beach! We would definitely stay again, especially to see Bodi the dog!

Quiet, beautiful, calming and welcoming spot

Tina’s thoughtful welcome basket, card and note set the tone for a lovely stay in this beautiful and peaceful corner of Hampton. A perfect spot for my sisters and I who came to town for a family member’s celebration of life.

Awesome

Perfect little getaway. Comfortable and quiet, just far enough from the busy ocean road so you can relax and enjoy a peaceful meal overviewing a beautiful marsh and look at the tide roll in and out. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

The home was beautifully decorated, super clean and has a great view! The weather was not the best but the decor and location were wonderful. The welcome basket was a nice surprise. There were three of us and one night with six. Teen boys used our own air mattresses which fit well in the good sized bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. The home has all you need. The wagon for the short walk to the beach is a great touch but you may want to bring your own beach chairs. The hosts were responsive, pleasant and stayed next door. We look forward to staying there again!

Diamond kitchen chairs

My two grandsons so enjoyed their time at the beach. We loved the attention to details exhibited by the owners from welcoming us into our peaceful space to waving goodbye when our time came to an end. Beautiful, convenient, lovely spot. Even more than I expected.

Bel endroit pour relaxer

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 4 at Once upon a tide. The house met all of our needs and was as listed. The nearby beaches were beautiful and the location made it easy for us to travel to Boston, Salem and Maine for additional adventures. Tina and Jim were excellent hosts sharing great places to check out and eat. My family is already talking about our next trip to Hampton.

This might be the perfect place for you if you are looking for a peaceful place to watch the wildlife while sitting on your deck. We are close to the beautiful family oriented North Beach but only a mile from the fun of the main beach. We have stayed at many rental properties throughout our years of travel, and we wanted to try to make all the items available that we like to see in a rental property.
