Welcome to Ravennity! Very close to Light Rail, UW, Greenlake
Just a 5 minute walk from the Roosevelt light rail station, this spacious, 2 bedroom apartment is at a nexus for urban and natural amenities. On the top floor of a classic craftsman home, it overlooks a tree-lined boulevard. The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, induction cook top, oven, and full size fridge. Newly renovated with washer and dryer in unit. It is walking distance to parks, a Whole Foods grocery store, and many restaurants and other fun destinations.
The space:
There are custom and artistic touches throughout the space. The front porch offers a pleasant sanctuary overlooking the boulevard: perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The TV includes a Firestick so you can easily log into your personal steaming accounts. Owners live and work onsite, happy to respond to any questions.
Guest access
Just 5 blocks from the new Roosevelt Light Rail station, you'll be able get to and from the airport in under an hour regardless of traffic! Downtown is just a 10 minute ride. Some guests have found it cheaper to rent a car from the Avis/Budget car rental one block away rather than shuttling around a busy airport.
If you wish, I will grind organic coffee fresh the day you arrive. Caffeinated or decaf, just let me know. Otherwise, Urban Luxe Cafe is right around the corner and Herkimer Coffee, just up the street. And wonderful nearby restaurants too numerous to mention; I'll send you a detailed list on request.
University District Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 9 - 2.
We offer 2 off street parking spots and there is usually free all day street parking available nearby.
Other things to note:
NO CHORES! As our guests, there is no to-do list at check-out.
All bedding and towels are 100% cotton.
We are meticulous about cleaning.
Quiet hours 10pm - 7am

This was the perfect location to spend a few days while helping our daughter move into her housing for the upcoming school year at UW. I will echo previous reviews from other guests that Wynia far surpassed the expectations of what it means to be a good host. The upfront communication was so thoughtful and detailed with great recommendations. We loved visiting Wynia's art studio. Our only fear is that it will not be available the next time we visit Seattle.

This was a lovely place, very comfortable for two adults and two teenagers and in a great neighborhood. It looks just like the pictures. Host was very responsive and gave us lots of good travel advice ahead of time and left snacks, sodas, and coffee for us to help ourselves to. There is a rental car place nearby as well as a light rail station and a Whole Foods. Great place to stay in Seattle.

There is a reason that I am a repeat guest, the place is perfect for my travel needs. It is close enough to Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington to fit those needs but in a park like setting, quiet and oh so cute.

What a delightful space, full of art and cozy light! And great set up for coffee making with daily delivery of fresh organic grounds. It’s convenient to public transit w easy access to downtown and walkable to GreenLake.

As a repeat customer, I just can't say enough good things about this host. Wynia responds to all your questions, has the most delicious coffee, water and snacks ready for your stay. The location is ideal if you are traveling to Seattle Children's or UW. Park like setting just outside the front door. Can't wait to return, hopefully soon.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Seattle, particularly if you plan to spend time at or near UW. I have stayed at many VRBO properties, and Ravennity was the most well-stocked by far. Wynia provided fresh-ground coffee, as well as water and a wide assortment of sparkling water and snacks. This is truly an enjoyable place to stay!

The host, the space, the vibe, all of it was like a warm cozy safe home. I would easily stay here again and I live in Seattle! From even before we landed to the morning we left we felt so welcome and the energy was amazing!

Wonderful host. Communication was great from start to end. Very personable and the coffee was fabulous. The apartment was warm and inviting.

Wynia is a wonderful host. She thought of everything from the bottled water and snacks left for us. If I had a question she responded within a minute! We felt at home in this peaceful place.

Extremely welcoming host. Concise and quick communication with the host. Restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Comfortable beds, cozy accommodations and the host has thought of every detail to make your stay the best.

The house was super clean and hospitable. Ample supplies including fresh ground coffee, snacks and extra bedding and towels. She also kept in good contact and was cheerful and easy to communicate with!

This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in a great area of Seattle-peaceful and quiet with easy to access the light rail, Whole Foods, Greenlake and many restaurants. The private second floor apartment is tastefully decorated in Arts and Crafts style- spacious, uncluttered and meticulously clean. The ground floor deck is also a great space to pass time relaxing. Wynia and Ben have gone above and beyond with so many thoughtful details (including wonderful, freshly ground Equator coffee and tasty treats) . They are very proactive, responsive and gracious hosts, and had anticipated all of our possible needs. When I stay again in Seattle , I definitely hope they will have availability for me!

The apartment is lovely and feels like a warm hug on a rainy Seattle weekend. The host keeps everything super clean and has all the right touches with conveniences in every room without it feeling hectic - it is roomy and inviting. And the shower and water pressure is wonderful too! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay. Wynia created such a welcoming space for us. The accommodations were perfect with two bedrooms, a nice sitting area, and a kitchen with everything we needed (including delicious coffee!). The location was also perfect - it was easy to use public transit and to drive/park when we needed. Highly recommend.

Lovely retreat. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nearby park provided wonderful walking. Many extra amenities and attention to details. Highly recommend.

I love Seattle and would be happy to meet you! I moved here from rural Wisconsin when I was 18, and never left. For the last three decades I have been creating custom art glass for high end architectural projects. You’ll see some of it in evidence here. My studio is on the main floor. Husband Ben and I are in this together but you’re more likely to see me ~ I’m the on-site extrovert.
I have a long-standing fondness for etymology and entomology. I have a larger than average collection of beetles and seed pods. Partner dancing and country duets light me up!
I love exploring outdoors including nearby Ravenna Park; a symphony of sounds and rich aromas.
