Victorian Cottage 2 Miles to Downtown Seattle

Built in 1900 this cottage retains much of it's original charm. This traditional home has both formal living and dining rooms. Furnished with one queen bed and one full-size bed, it is comfortable for four people. Off-street parking is available. Laundry facilities are in the basement. A separate studio apartment in the basement is not included. (inquire about availablity and rates for this separate studio apt).

Located in the Central Area of Seattle, this house is 10 minutes to Seattle's Capitol Hill, Madrona and Madison Park neighborhoods and Downtown Seattle. Public transportation is 1 block away which makes it convenient to all that Seattle has to offer. Nearby amenities include a coffee shop, restaurants, Central Cinema, supermarkets, a pilates/yoga studio.

Seattle refresher

Super clean, cozy cottage your grandma probably lived in. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Private parking provided. House has good juju. Would recommend!!!

Cute little house in pretty neighborhood

Nice comfortable house close to everything. The house ust old and quaint but kept up nicely. We had a wonderful weekend.

Great home base for a fantastic trip

The property was exactly as described and served as a fantastic home base as we explored Seattle and the Cascades. We greatly enjoyed our time here. Other reviews are not joking about the driveway clearance. If you plan to visit and do need a car, opt for something that sits up high. We had no issues using transit and street parking in the neighborhood so no big deal. Will definitely be looking to stay here again if it is available next time I'm in town.

Home far away from home

My wife and I flew about 8000 miles all the way from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Seattle to spend the holidays with our daughters that recently moved into town. We chose this particular place because it was close to them but the house surpassed all our expectations.. it was absolutely perfect

Birthday trip to Seattle

Wonderful

This is a lovely house, felt spacious and perfect for our family of 4. It is on peaceful, quiet, tree lined street. There are restaurants within walking distance. The space is very pretty and tastefully decorated. Staying here was a delight and made Seattle feel so welcoming. A lovely city and a delightful home

A nice place, likely was too far out from downtown for us with no car. Older folks, we had issues accessing and exiting the shower.

Great location in a fun neighborhood

We chose this property to be close to family, and it was both close and roomy enough for them to spend quality time with us. Location bonus was the great neighborhood, everything in easy walking distance. Cindy and Jose were great hosts. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Seattle

This cozy 2 bedroom house was quite spacious and comfortable. It has all the amenities of home and very convenient to all areas of Seattle. The parking was a PLUS. It was a great house that we would love to return to in the future.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is cozy, the location perfect. The street is very quiet. We relied on public transportation for our entire stay and the bus stop was just at the corner. We had a great time here and would highly recommend this place! Grocery stores are within walking distance and so are coffee places and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home! Charming home in great neighborhood

We loved our stay at this charming old home. The rooms are spacious, the off street parking very convenient, and the amenities plentiful. The street is quiet yet very close to great restaurants. It's fewer than 2 miles to the waterfront downtown and in a very safe area. We would love to come back!

Beautiful home- convenient location!

The property was wonderful! The period details were lovely, thoughtfully decorated, very nice linens and spacious enough for four comfortably. The washer and dryer were a great bonus. Located in a lovely neighborhood short drive or bus ride to downtown but great restaurants, parks, cool eat in movie theatre and a cafe all within walking distance - including a Trader Joe's! Nice pirvate yard and comfy porch. Highly recommend!

Seattle for my Birthday

What an amazing house, so unique and beautiful. We flew from California to see my best friends for my birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were wonderful with personal touches all through the house for us. The only complaint is they could use better beds but other than that top-tier stay.

Home away from home.

Very happy with our stay. The neighborhood was quiet. Easy to walk to from transit. The home was very comfortable; from beds, decor and kitchen supplies. Cindy and Josée were very helpful in responding to a couple of inquiries. Would definitely come back.
