Location great for Cedar Point!

Plenty of room for my family to comfortably sleep and eat together. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils .

Don’t be deceived by the photos as this house is extremely non hygienic. Upon arrival, we noticed an awful odor throughout the house. It seemed to be a mixture of wet dog, smoke and something rotten. It would not go away and when communicated with the owner, all that was offered was to stop by with an ozone purifier for a few hours. It is fairly obvious that the house needs to be cleaned more thoroughly and the carpet shampooed. All the closets wreaked of smoke as well. Amenities were very fewAnd did not accommodate the guest count of 10. It was stated that they provide enough for a “starter”, However half a paper towel roll, 4 total toilet paper rolls, soap pumps quarter of the way filled, and Shampoo/conditioner that were also almost empty, is not an example of a starter. There were not enough towels for 10 people and smelled of mildew. The shower was beyond disgusting. There was mold and soap scum all over the Curtain and the tub itself had a black hue. The house was covered in spiders and cobwebs. We killed 5 that were roaming around and others that we saw were in between the window glass and screen of every window. Thank goodness the windows were not able to be opened as this would have not be appealing but would have helped to remove the smell. Then there were the cockroaches. When I told to the owner, no response. Just a “thank you for staying!” Do yourself a favor look elsewhere! This was absolutely disgusting!

Annual fishing trip

Extremely clean & updated with new appliances, large & spacious rooms thru out the house, very comfortable accommodations. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.

It was perfect.

The house is way bigger than pictures. It's very spacious. It was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and beautiful inside. The beds were comfortable as well. Definitely will be staying again.

Good time

If you are looking for somewhere to lay your heard and relax for the weekend in between your trips to islands, this is your place! Has a nice vintage look while being updated as well. We will be returning!

Nice stay

Very nice newly remodeled home. Plenty of space. Extremely clean. Located close to downtown and Cedar Point. Pet friendly and great price. The owner responded promptly.

Good Cedar Point Spot

House was very clean and well maintained, everything was as described. Neighborhood feels a little rough, as does a lot of Sandusky, but we had no issues and it is very easy to get to Cedar Point from here.

Close to cedar point

The location of Cedar Point was great. Inside was everything the pictures looked like. The front door is an antique and therefore could be broken into easily. Stayed with females and kids so made me a little nervous. If the door was changed it would get all the stars.

Cedar Point adventure

This very large old property is within 10 minutes of Cedar Point. The house easily held our 10 guests, although there was only one shower. The property has obviously been newly remodeled and has some nice touches, but the house is well over 100 years old and comes with certain challenges that you would expect from a house of that age. The rental price is fair but the fees increase the cost quite a bit making this property not quite the deal that it initially seems. Overall, we had a lovely time with family in a large space and it suited our needs well.

Sandusky House

House was great, very clean and well stocked. Driveway was really narrow but manageable. Wish there had been more communication from the owner. Other owners have reached out prior to our stay, during, and on checkout day. We didn't hear from the owner until I reached out when we left.

Lacks responsibility

Overall this is not a place i can recommend in looking out for other people. Upon checkin there was many problems. From broken windows, amd cobwebs, to tvs that wouldnt work, to a bunk bed that was absolutely not safe. We also booked there for that bunk bed room

Great weekend stay.

Rented for a 2 night stay with 3 couples. Plenty of room and very "homey". Everything was perfect and comfortable, right down to matching silverware and dishes to bedding and towels. Very updated home considering its over a century old, well done Branson. Reached out to the owner upon arriving and asked for a favor. He was there within 30 mins and had zero issues helping us out. I can't say enough positive things about this place, there were so many little things that just made it feel like home! We had a great weekend and hopefully will be booking again for next year when the time comes, really hope it's available again.
