Beautiful Beach Cottage-The Cure

This beautifully designed beach cottage is a very short walk to the sugary white sands and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. From the tower, you can enjoy views of the gulf and amazing sunsets. Summers Edge is a gated, beachside community on the southside of 30A. There are two private pools, one heated and one infinity. It is family friendly, perfect for bike riding for the kids and adults. You will also be close to Eastern Lake to enjoy the magic of the coastal dune lakes. Don't forget your nets and buckets!

This peaceful beach home has an open kitchen, dining and family room with a new flat screen TV on the first floor. It is great for two families and entertaining. Also located on the first floor are two bedrooms, one queen and one with twin beds, along with a full bath. There are French doors that open to a large front porch that is perfect for dining, swinging and watching the kids play. A white picket fence totally surrounds the yard for the younger ones and there is an outdoor shower area and grilling area on the side of the house. Parking is available for three cars.

The upstairs consists of a very serene master suite complete with a jetted tub and full shower. French doors again open to a large second floor deck that leads up to the third floor tower. A perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee and end the day with a beverage and the sunset. There is also a kids bunkroom with flat screen TV and bathroom on the second floor.

Ideal property for family vacation

This is our second time to this property and it is perfect for our family. Close to the beach access, heated pool, and the no thru traffic street is great for my kids who like to play outside. It is the perfect balance of nice and comfortable without feeling too luxurious for kids. We will be back!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, and rental had everything we needed. The upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Family Reunion

Great home to come to for our family reunion. We had 4 houses on N. Ryan St for the week. It was great! I would definitely stay at this home again!

May getaway trip

House was very clean upon arriving! The house was very nice and spacious. I don’t think you could find a better location. It’s a short 5 min walk to the beach and community pool! Lots of shopping and good restaurants within walking distance as well!

the house was great! it would be helpful to have some sort of map navigating how to get to area pools and beach access, but after finding everything, it was pretty simple. also, no canopies allowed on this beach, this would have been helpful to have known in advance

Great area and home

Love this area by Eastern Lake as there is natural beauty all around you and is close to restaurants and shops. The house is spacious and very clean. Has everything you need. Close walk to the beach for sunsets too!

Lovely house!

We had a wonderful stay. There were four adults and four kids and the house layout worked perfect for our two family set up. Perfect location to get to the pool and beach. I loved that the street is essentially a dead end so no thru traffic. There were tons of beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas for us to use if needed. We also heard of several families in other rentals complaining of not having enough key fobs to access the pool and beach but this house had one for each adult so that we could go and do whatever we wanted without worrying about others in our group. We hope to stay again!

Perfect break

This property was perfect for our family of seven (2 adults and “kids” age 12 to 23) to wrap up a busy holiday season. The house is bright, spacious, simply and tastefully decorated and very livable. The proximity to the beach is wonderful; it’s an easy walk to pool and beach. Pool was well heated to allow comfortable swimming even on brisk Jan days. The house’s design is lovely, better than the photos with lovely porches and turret. Three bathrooms made for easy bath rotation after days at beach. We ate in every day and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The grocery is a short drive away. Proximity to bike paths, pool and beach was great for our fitness focused crowd. Summer’s Edge is a lovely community, close to everything but not in the middle of the visitor fray. It has low Traffic volume which makes for lovely walking. The house is well outfitted with beach gear: chairs, wagon, skim boards, and all. Just bring your crew and beach towels. House and neighborhood are very dog friendly; our old lab and young dachshund fully approved. Vanessa was a delightful hostess: responsive and helpful. Overall, wonderful stay, very highly recommended.

Pleasant Trip

This was a quiet street. The house was just a few blocks from pool and beach. It had a great porch and fenced in backyard which was great for our dog. The house needs some love. As a VRBO family, I could tell the owners depend on housekeepers or management to take care of the house. There were at least 6 light bulbs not working and a 15 watt in the only lamp in the living room. We replaced 3 but no more bulbs. The microwave was dirty when we arrived. It sleeps 10 but not enough glasses or cups for 10. The throw rugs need a pad under them. Very slippery. Four members were in their seventies so it was a concern. Plenty of bedding and nice stack of towels. Refrigerator filter needed to be replaced. From other reviews, it has needed to be replaced for months. It is a 4 bedroom but bunk room is only for small children because it has short mattresses. Beds were comfy but only master bedroom was a nice size. Others small. Outdated coffee maker. People that drink coffee do not like the same kind. Therefore, that’s why pod coffeemakers were invented. They are not expensive. Luckily we brought our own which is ridiculous! Eating area a nice size. Nice bar area. TV needed instructions on how to operate and what channels are what! This could be a 5 star house with a little attention.

Family Fun

Summer beach fun enhanced by stay at this house. Roomy for family group of 7. Bunkbeds were child size but twin beds accommodated teens. Mattress on queen and king bed very soft. Use of wagon and beach chairs a plus and upgraded coffee maker with k cup much appreciated.

Great stay in 30A

This house fits our needs for a one week stay at the beach! No rental home is perfect, but this fit our expectations. The homeowner was nice, had quick responses and was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place

Very nice place within 5 min walk to the beach. Very good pool access for our children. Only issue we had was the house didn’t get cleaned before check-in. But communication with owner was prompt and issue was resolved quickly. We had a great time.

Lovely home and neighborhood

House very nice and exactly as pictures show. Vanessa easy to work with and responds quickly. Other places where we have stayed allow golf carts so we did miss that. But walk to beach was easy and wagon really helped. Beautiful pools and neighborhood quiet and friendly.

The Cure for what ails you!

The Cure was just what was needed. Easy to book from beginning to end. Easy to reach owner when smoke detector batteries needed to be changed. Beautiful, serene tree lined street with a porch swing to take it all in. We will book again!

Great location!

We had a great stay! The house is welcoming and has plenty of items for the beach, baking, and anything else you’d like to do. We were able to walk to the beach and use both pools everyday. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area as well. Our dogs loved it too and they loved walking through the neighborhood. Great stay!

Good location

We stayed at the Cure for a relaxing 2 week vacation. Vanessa was great about communication and responded quickly anytime we reached out. The neighborhood is nice but it should be noted in bold that no golf carts are allowed. We always rent a golf cart when we visit 30A and ours was ticketed overnight as the HOA does not allow them. The beach access for this neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired. The house comes well equipped with beach chairs, however, at the appointed access, there’s a contract with a chair/umbrella company so the closest you can get to beachfront is second row, unless you rent chairs. Also, the deeded beach property is the width of 2 beach homes which crams a lot of people into a small area. We used the public access by the lake and it was further but nice. The house itself is nice and we were very comfortable there. The bunk beds upstairs are short and perfect for a child but not a teen/adult. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Seaside but also close enough to Rosemary Beach to be there in 10-15 minutes. We enjoyed hanging out at Coastside, which is within walking distance.

Highly recommended!

Great location! We were able to walk to the beach and bike to Seaside and The Hub. The house and neighborhood was fantastic! We will definitely be back. Only negatives- Ice maker was not functioning well, had to purchase bags of ice. There was dog hair on the couch, throw blankets and under the kitchen table.
