Quiet and Serene, Central Location, Dog Friendly!

Located on a mostly wooded, 2 acre setting on a quiet road, you’ll be amazed that such tranquility and peace can be located so near to all of Door County’s amenities. We're within walking distance to Sip Coffee and Red Putter Mini Golf, a short drive to the Piggly Wiggly in Sister Bay, and a short drive the other direction to Penninsula State Park and Golf Course.

Mingary Cottage is a 3-Bedroom, 2-Bathroom cottage with a full kitchen and comfortable common areas that can comfortably accommodate six people. With wood laminate floors throughout, it's also a pet-friendly house! Some other highlights include two queen beds and two twinXL beds, EV (Tesla) charging abililty, an outdoor firepit and a large front porch complete with a porch swing, just perfect for sipping an afternoon beverage or watching the sunset.

Highly recommend, 10/10!Fantastic location! Mingary is located on a quiet dead end road. Perfect for enjoying the yard and morning walks with our dog. Several local businesses within walking distance. We took the host's suggestion and visited SIP (several times). Great food and coffee - our favorites were called the HUG and the MIEL! Downtown Sister Bay and Ephraim are about 5-10 drive. The cabin itself is welcoming and comfortable, well stocked and clean! You can relax the minute you arrive! It's worth mentioning, the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. It's great to get a good night sleep on vacation :)Thank you Janell and Kevin!

Very nice. Very clean. Paper and soap supplies were plentiful. Comfy beds.Often saw deer in the yard! Kitchen very well supplied. My sister's would have preferred a keurig for coffee but I was fine with the regular drip style. We also thought maybe a few new skillets as the current ones are rather aged but still very capable, we used the largest one every day! Would stay again! Loved our girls weekend! Thanks so much!

So beautiful and bright, clean and wonderfully appointed. That front porch is as comfy as it looks with a great yard all around it. The mosquitos are part of the picture so bring your bug juice. We had a wonderful time and hope to be able to go back next summer.

Wonderful place to spend some time

Great communication from the owners. Easy directions to find the place. Good location. Easy check-in process. A good amount of space for five people. Property was clean and as advertised. Would definitely look to stay there again if I was in the area.

Pleasant, quiet stay

Everything was excellent and as described. Loved the labeling of the lights and doors explaining how to lock. Excellent communication with owners. We had a lovely time and would recommend to others.

Wonderful stay!

Oh my goodness, can’t say enough good things about our stay here! Super clean, cozy, and very well stocked. Coffee on the porch in the mornings was delightful, the bed were comfy, and we truly enjoyed every minute. Very appreciative of the communication from the host as well. We will be back!

Fall Getaway in Door County

We spent 7 wonderful nights at the beautiful Mingary cottage. The property is somewhat secluded, but close enough to be just a short drive from all Door County has to offer! There was not one thing that we needed, that was not provided. I cannot say enough about the wonderful porch! Sitting outside with a cup of coffee, a book, or a glass of wine was relaxing, as well as beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer and the turkeys in the yard. The beds were comfortable, the grill was in like new condition, as was the washer and dryer. We loved the home and can't wait to return next year!

Just as described.

The place is just as pictured, if not nicer. Excellent location, very safe. Would stay here again, however there aren’t towels for bathing so make sure you bring your own!

Lovely family gathering

Beautiful and peaceful

Very quaint and extremely well kept. It was in the perfect location for our group. When make our arrangements and checking in the owners we’re very friendly. We would love to stay here again for the same time next year.

This made girls trip 10x better

This property was just what we were looking for our getaway weekend! A secluded spot that was close to all the amenities that Door County offers. Communication was smooth, the property kept up and overall just an amazing home for a couple of days.

Mingary rates very high with us

We've stayed in many different places in Door County and must say this was one of the best. It was as described--clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and well-located. It's located in a very peaceful setting about 1/2 mile off Hwy 42 on Orchard Road in Ephraim. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch ... and, well, just everything. Our Scottie enjoyed it, too.

Wonderful Stay

Cottage was great! Well stocked, lots of room, very quiet and great location. Range and refrigerator were nice with plenty of room for lots of food. Spacious living room, tv had everything and wood burning fireplace was very cozy. Exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful but also so close to Ephraim and Sister Bay and a short drive to Egg Harbor. Great host as well!! Very helpful and informative about the property.

Amazing Stay in Ephraim

I loved my week at the Mingary Cottage! The home was full of light, had soft, comfortable furniture, and great views. My dog loved running around in the front yard. Janell and Kevin were quick to respond to questions and personable. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Door County!

Amazing House

We loved our weeklong stay at the Mingary. The house is beautiful, the kitchen well stocked with nice appliances and dishes, pans etc. The location of the house is so convenient to shopping, hiking, orchards etc. yet it feels like you're in the middle of the woods. Lots of good birding right from the living room too!

Great Stay

Wonderful place to stay! We loved the quiet location of the of the property. The house was very clean and more than enough room for five adults and one dog. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Towels would have been helpful, but we would definitely stay there again.
