Little gem

This cottage is ideally located with lovely views of the lake. It’s comfortable and all you need for a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

A Great property nessled in a quiet cove right on the lake! Relaxing & serene day & night. We loved the “night sounds” echoing off the lake. A spacious cottage style home that is cozy & meets the needs of adults, seniors & kids. This stay had a very homey feel to it that we thoroughly enjoyed.

We loved the neighborhood and the beautiful lake view. The house was comfortable and had plenty of room for the 3 of us. The host was very attentive.

House only has 2.5 baths not 3.5 as advertised. Lovely neighborhood and beautiful piece of property. Highly recommend this place for the view and tranquility of the location.

Family visit

This was a nice house in a beautiful setting. My parents were with us (mid 80’s) and the steps and bathrooms were a little tough for them but the porch with a view of the lake was a great place to entertain family. Thank you for your hospitality and being an attentive manager.

Great experience

We had a great experience at this property. The bedrooms were well set up and met our needs. We had one issue and the management team addressed it quickly without questions. It was chilly so we didn't use the lake, but it had a nice area. Beautiful neighborhood as well.

Lakefront serenity

Property is as detailed in the listing. Many hours spent enjoying the view from the screened porch. As mentioned in other reviews, additional pots/pans and utensils need to be added. We had a great stay and are appreciative of the check-in/out procedure. We had a great stay!!

4th of July

We had an amazing time. Home just as descried. We spent the days on the dock, swimming, fishing, just sitting a talking. We watched fireworks light up the night from the dock. The house was big enough for the 9 of us. The screened porch was a great place to relax. The view was incredible. The location was great. Close to stores. We ate at Sweet Waters. Food and service were on point.

Cute cottage on the lake

We came for a weekend trip to go to the Oyster & Wine Festival in Charlotte and found this cute cottage on Lake Wylie to stay at. The house sits at the end of a street with very nice homes on either side. The parking area is circular which was nice since we had 2 vehicles with us. The home itself is nice and cozy, has a "lake vibe", was clean and had plenty of kitchen things and a coffee maker. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Its about 10 minutes to a grocery store and restaurant options.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay and had a very nice time with our family. The home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with easy access, a large private yard, lovely water views, and a dock. We especially enjoyed seeing deer, raccoons, geese, and bats in the evenings.The property could benefit from more attention to cleaning and maintenance. We found fingerprints on the sliding doors, spider webs on the kitchen window, and the screened porch and outdoor furniture needed cleaning before use. The bathrooms had a urine odor that appeared to be coming from the bathmats. The master shower/tub has peeling paint and could use updating, and the beds were somewhat saggy. The firepit was positioned precariously on a sloping area of the yard under trees and close to the house, so we fixed its broken foundation before use. I would also avoid parking under the large trees in front, as falling acorns left a few dents on the roof and hood of our rental car.Overall, the property has a wonderful setting and has a lot of potential. With some additional attention to cleaning, maintenance, and a few updates, it could be an excellent stay. As is, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5.
