The Sandy Castle is a very unique vacation rental located on Isle of Palms, SC. The Sandy Castle is a 9 bedroom / 4 bathroom / 2 kitchens and a (wet bar). There is plenty of room for large groups, families and friends. Must be 25 years or older to lease. Weekly Rental (Saturday to Saturday) during prime season - June, July and first two weeks of August. Three Night minimum during off season.

This older home will accommodate the whole family. Being pet friendly is a plus. Great Host communication.

The property was accurately described and provided plenty of room for our large group. There were 4 refrigerators so plenty of room for food and beverages. Nice that it also has 2 separate gathering areas- one on each floor. Great location!

We enjoyed our stay. We have a very large family, and it was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach was a definite bonus. The host was nice and very responsive!

Good house

We booked this house for our boys to play baseball. The house was a good size to where all the kids literally had their own room. However the dryer in the house tore up some of clothing. Just beware of the dryer. Overall good house for lots of kids.

Great for a family vacation

We really enjoyed staying at the Sandy Castle. The 9 bedrooms meant that we could bring our extended family while staying on a budget. The home is dated as other reviewers state but it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, the home was very clean. Linens were provided and were also clean and fresh. There are 2 full kitchens plus a kitchenette as well as a bonus 4th fridge. The floorplan is a bit strange. A floorplan in the listing would have been helpful. Otherwise, no big criticisms. We would stay here again.

Graduation celebration destination

This property, and the location of the property was awesome! I highly recommend this beach house! Especially if you have a group of 10 to 16 people. The quaint and rustic layout of the house, was ideal in accommodating my family and friends. The large kitchen and family room were perfect for playing games. And the short walk to the beach was the icing on the cake! This was the perfect setting to celebrate my daughter's graduation!

Perfect multi-family home

This home has so many beds and bedrooms! Its easy to get some personal space here too. Its a layout of a home like I have never seen before- it was just lovely! There was space for us to all get together for meals, games or movies- yet enough room to get some privacy when needed. Isle of Palm beach, compares to no other. It is a huge beach. Weekend with Friends

The house was totally comfortable and easily accommodated our group. John was a very communicative host throughout booking and stay and was helpful with some items left behind. Definitely recommend this property.

Yearly 10K trip

Comfortable beds and furniture. Pleasant walk to the beach. Plenty of rooms to choose from for all guests. Excellent communication with the owner. Love the location for getting to the start of the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Wonderful large group or family vacation home. Lots of space to spread out and at the same time enjoy time with everyone . Close vicinity to the beach and all the other annuities that Isle of Palms has to offer.

Such a lovely week!

We had a great time staying at the Sandy Castle. It was big enough for our extended family. The twin bed rooms were perfect for the grandkids. We really like the outdoor shower - a must for coming in from the beach. And the location was great! It made running down to the beach an easy effort, as opposed to having to pack everything for a longer stretch. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Several things in the home need to be updated the glass of the oven door fell out when we opened the oven, loose tiles in the shower, broken windows etc Location was great, it was clean, very roomy. Just needs some updates

Overall this was a great house with a great layout! It had all the essentials and walk to the beach was easy. House is surface cleaned well but could use a deep clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would return!

Family reunion

This is a fabulous property for a family reunion! We easily slept 4 families/2 dogs. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Any questions we had were quickly answered and addressed with owner easily. Would definitely book a large group again! Amazing memories made!
