John was a great host. Location was great everything you wanted within walking distance. Only issue was the unit could update kitchen appliances coffee also bathroom shower rod and both curtains in shower and living room. Overall was a great week.

We love Mission Beach and were thrilled to find this place with parking! Parking in Mission Beach is a must. The apartment was a comfortable stay with all the basics needed for our week. Steps from the beach and great food and coffee options. We would definitely stay again.

Spring break

Place was clean, steps to mission beach, good communication. I would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as advertised, beautiful location. A must book

This place was beautiful (enough for 1-3 people) and easy to get to. The location was convenient, just steps to the beach and many coffee shops, restaurants and bars. If you have a car the parking space provided is extremely convenient. Would definitely stay there again. Such a great place!

Good place. Good location. Good value. Good management.

Coastal Beach Condo (CBC) is in a good location; close to restaurants, the beach, the bay, and other services. The management is responsive and professional. CBC is clean and safe with secure access and parking.

The home had great amenities-- modern appliances, smart tv, and beach gear-- chairs, umbrella, and 3 bikes in excellent condition. The host, John, was very proactive in providing clear instructions and was immediately responsive to any issues that arose.

We loved our stay here! Pros - location! Location! Location! It’s literally a block from the beach! John and team were very prompt in their responses, very accommodating too (extended checkout to noon!), willing to come out if needed..We found mission beach to be pretty central to where we wanted to go ! Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and artisan shops to try out around here! Cons - these ended up not being dealbreakers for us during our mid winter break but there is no AC in the unit; no views directly from the unit, no laundry in the unit, no exhaust in the bathroom.Overall though, I’d highly recommend this place! Just time your laundry and crack open the door for air..:-) we can’t wait to be back!

The place is (mostly) as advertised, with a roomy free parking space in the garage, ocean breezes to cool the place, a king bed (we'd asked ahead of time about the firmness of mattress and, yes! it was fabulous, best bed we've ever had in on this beach). Our host was very responsive and quick--welcoming and friendly. I'd say that the "Modern" descriptive is what you see in photos-- a bit of mid-century profile to the furniture, lamps and art, lots of light coming in. We had enough space to sit at work either at the table or breakfast bar. What you can't see (and this isn't a deal breaker at all--) furniture is quite worn (couch a bit too soft and discolored from wear, multi-chipped coffee table, chips in that white circular table). But...We've been coming to this beach since 70s when beach decor was second hand stuff, so that was ok. Improvement/upgrades: the tiny electric barbeque grill sitting on the balcony has no place to plug in, the tower fans in the closet have substantial dust bunnies in the inlet grill in the back (we reported this, but were told, the maintenance team would be notified to be sure that is fixed for the next guests), wi-fi is very slow, and the "fully equipped kitchen" is mostly ok (no measuring cup? limited glassware, tho' plenty of wine glasses!). Overly bright walkway lights outside the bedroom window and loud tenants, so needed to shut window and blinds, losing the cross-breeze. Plus?: Bay view and night sky from balcony.

Nice enough place, but some concerns.

When we checked in, the keys that were in the lock box were not the correct keys to get into the door to the apartment. I called and they were able to set up a key code for me to use, but he did ask me "do you know how to use the key?". The lock on the deadbolt was held "locked" by the frame of the door. Not very secure. When I messaged to get a refund and stay elsewhere, they said there was no refunds. the shower head also leaked at the seams. I screened apartments looking for ones with AC, this one does not, but still came up with the apartments that had AC.
