Beach Cottage proximity to the beach is perfect, with stunning water views on three sides, great breezes. Ocean views and Pool views all in one cottage. Large open yard with marsh and water views, just steps to the sandy beach and steps to the Harbor where you can kayak. This property is unique in that it is one of the best bird-watching spots in North America. It sits adjacent to Rachael Carson Nature Preserve. Rent this cottage and invite extended family or friends to come along and join you with the next door cottage which sleeps 6, total can be up to 10 people if rented with next door property, please ask for details if more than 4 people...if you book early, next door with extra bedrooms may be available too!

This cottage is a hidden gem! Perfect for a couple, or a family of four or five. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated in fresh beach decor. Light, bright and cheery. Enjoy your morning coffee on the wrap around deck, and listen to the waves crashing. Grill out in the back garden, enjoy the fantastic sunset views from your back patio deck, morning and afternoon sun on the deck. Free non resident parking and free beach parking pass. Enjoy your freshly steamed lobster and clams, or fresh fish from our general store just around the corner.

Host a family reunion, clambake or rehearsal dinner or wedding in the adjacent garden with fantastic sunset and water views. Or just sit and relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the lobster boats and sailboats. Wedding receptions galore here! Memories are made here! No events will be on site during your stay if you are just renting the vacation cottage.

Great scenic spot with a less than 5 minute walk to the beach! Sunsets on the deck were absolutely gorgeous and backyard and great privacy! Our kids loved it and we will be back.

What a cheerful cottage to spend some time on vacation! Waking up to the sounds of lobster boats and birds chirping after a decadent sunset on the deck and delicious local seafood dinner was everything we needed. Having the beach across the street, the little village and Audubon trail hikes were perfect! We will definitely return here to this slice of heaven. The host was available and easy to communicate with. The cottage was comfortable, cozy and some nice additions since we were last visiting two years ago.Can’t wait to return.

Absolutely wonderful views! Biddeford Pool is a nice, upscale community. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog and enjoyed walking on the beach, which is super close, and into 'town' for food at Goldthwaite's. Beach yoga during the week was a treat. Gorgeous views all around the peninsula. Easy and scenic drive to Kennebunkport and other nearby towns/beaches. Good communication - thank you, Sarah, for sharing your cottage with us! We would consider staying here again.

Incredible location. Easy access to the beach and views that are incomparable. The property needs work. There is no usable outdoor shower, as it is wide open to the parking area which she rents out to beachgoers. Spent the week explaining the parking process to people wandering the property to pay at the self serve station, who also used our “outdoor shower” to get sand off from the beach. People would actually pull in and honk for service. Tons of potential. The rental is on the 2nd floor and has a really beachy cottage feel. It’s a special space, and wonderful for the views and location, but the property needs some love.

Great place with a beautiful waterview!

We just got back from spending a wonderful, long weekend at Bright Beach Cottage in Biddeford Pool! The cottage was cozy, convienient to the beach and had a great view! We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Mile stretch getaway

Ideal location. Entire house with everything you need and the beach decor makes you feel like you are on vacation. Unreal views all day. Show stopper is the sunsets. Beach right across the street. So many restaurants, gifts shops and community activities going on. This rental is a must!

I wasn’t familiar with this area before our stay. I have to say we will definitely be back! What a lovely and relaxing trip. The views cannot be beat, the beach a short walk across the street was wonderful. This is a pet friendly place, and we had such fun on our walks on the beach and cool people/pet friendly path with an interesting past. The village up the street is completely charming and convenient. Communication with the host was an A.

We had a wonderful time at this house! It’s perfectly situated by the beach, just a stone’s throw away from the charming village of Biddeford Pool. You can even grab some fresh, steamed lobster at the grocery store there. The house offers breathtaking views of the sunset and the bay, and there’s plenty of great outdoor space for relaxation. Parking is also a breeze. The host is incredibly friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We even had a travel massage for our anniversary, and this house was the perfect venue for it!

Relaxing and beautiful property

This is a beautiful property with peaceful water views and amazing easy beach access. We had a perfect weekend and just wish we had more time and could have stayed longer. Wonderful and responsive host. Highly recommend this property, especially if you want a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the water.

The View !

The location of this property is beautiful! The house is very bright and spacious . With Beach access directly across the road the ocean is there whenever you want! Very peaceful in the evening watching the sunset over the Biddeford Pool!

Stunning

Stunning views and well-equipped furnishings. Great property to be so perfectly located so close to the big beach and wonderful views on the deck. Nice bed linens and comfy mattresses. Everything you need right here in this gem of a cottage.

Weekend in Biddeford Pool

We had a fantastic weekend stay in Biddeford Pool...our first time in the area. The house was very clean inside, property host Sarah was very responsive on a few questions we had leading up to stay and the view is spectacular! Short walk to the beach was easy to do with young kids/baby and the neighborhood is walkable for an evening stroll as well. We'll definitely be back!

Incredible view, fantastic location, lovely/responsive owner

We had just the get-away we needed at Sarah's cottage. She could not have been more responsive whenever we had a question. The sound of the ocean on one side and the incredible sunsets on the other, with a perfect cross breeze through the cottage...wishing we were still there.

Great views of Biddeford pool, great views of the ocean, super bright apartment , 4 minutes walk to tjr beach. confortable , and large , very bright, we where 4 adults and one 6 weeks princess, for a memorable week! Thanks Sarah. Large, clean, well equipped, we will return , for sure.

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. There were positives, but given the price, we would have chosen another property had we known these issues in advance.The location is the biggest advantage. The beach is just across the street via a private road (about a 4–5 minute walk), so you don’t have to deal with the crowded public parking lot. The views of the inlet and sunsets from the deck are beautiful.Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t live up to the setting. The host allows the public to use the house’s open lot for paid parking, so there were constantly cars coming and going. We weren’t blocked in, but it made the property feel much less private than expected.The property also shows significant wear. The entire first floor is locked and boarded up, and the area beneath the deck is filled with old, rusted equipment. The Adirondack chairs pictured in their page were weathered, splintered, and one was broken.Inside, several advertised amenities weren’t functional. The oven and built-in microwave didn’t work, and the microwave still contained old food that smelled awful. Thankfully, there was a small countertop microwave. Sponges used and dirty. “Cleaning crew” looked nonexistent. Deck doors locked shut with the doorknob removed, so we couldn’t create any airflow, making the living area uncomfortably warm during our stay.The location is the only reason we’d recommend this property. Given the overall condition and price, we wouldn’t stay here again.

A Perfect Coastal Getaway - Can’t Wait to Return!

I absolutely loved staying at Sarah's cottage! It perfectly embodies quintessential coastal Maine style, with gorgeous views, breathtaking sunsets, and the beach right across the street. You can even hear the soothing sound of the ocean at night! I had never been to Biddeford Pool before, and I’m so happy I found this listing. I fell in love with both the town and this charming home. Sarah was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout my stay. I definitely plan on returning!

Amazing, didn't want to leave

This property was insanely beautiful. Views of the pool on one side, ocean on the other. Walk across the street to an amazing beach. It was so perfect! Sarah was a great host, very helpful and communicative. This rental was perfect in every way, we simply didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back.
