Charming cottage with oceanview, Beautiful location with easy parking and everything needed inside the cottage. Private yard with a deck along with a outdoor grill. Host was fantastic with arrangements. Very professional with wonderful ideas for visiting the area. Bonus that the cottage was very pet friendly. We look forward to returning.

Suzanne was incredibly thorough, kind & helpful. She is also very responsive! The location was very peaceful and quiet, except for the tranquil sounds of crashing waves :-). The cottage is old but pleasantly charming. Definitely worth a return visit.

We had such an amazing time. A fantastic little beach cottage with an ocean view, perfect for watching the sunrise with a coffee. It is quintessential old New England. Simple, clean, quiet, and beautiful. A few steps from a little beach which me and family had a blast finding so much sea glass so a little beach. A quick drive into town, but we really had to reason to leave. The host was communicative, available for questions, knowledgeable and excited to share information of the area, activities and history. She went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Definitely will plan a trip back.

IN a nutshell, the cottage was cluttered, and dirty. The bathmat smelled, blankets in bedrms smelled. I can handle clutter, though not uncleanliness. Furniture was worn out, outdated, missing door knobs. The beds were not comfortable. It wasn't well stocked; minimal toilet paper & paper towels, had to go buy them. One of the lampshades was being held together by a rubber band; a dish sponge was left over from previous renters? Not sure could have been weeks, it smelled badly. It was all little things that became big. The owner provided us with clean towels, blankets, etc,. though the entire cottage needed a serious deep cleaning. This cottage has a million dollar view, though we were uncomfortable for the entire stay due to uncleanliness and smells. There is an old wood stove on top of brick, which we stubbed our toes pretty hard in the middle of the night going to restroom. One of the worst stays I've had over the years.

This felt like a cozy cottage that my favorite aunt lent me for the weekend. The host communicated very well how to get there, places of interest, expectations. The kitchen had utensils we needed. I was glad to choose bring my own linens; I have sensitive skin so it can be a gamble if I have a reaction. The cove is nice to relax in, though next time I'll have to bring a chair. The furnace works well as we came a little on the off season and needed it at night and part of a rainy day. Overall it was just the weekend away I was looking for. We brought our dog for her first trip away. There is a fenced in dog park a short drive away. I saw hiking trails too that we will try another time. Loved our stay and hope to return!

Such a sweet little cottage. The giant door to the deck was our favorite part. Being able to have it open to listen to the crashing waves was bliss.

Beautiful Location

We had a very relaxing few days in this vintage cottage where we spent most of the time on the deck overlooking the ocean. Ocean air and the sound of the waves as the tide comes onto the neighboring beach… what could be better?

If you want to hear, see and smell the ocean, this is the best place to be! Shabby chic plus loaded with charm. Could use better beds.

Charming old cottage with gorgeous views. Off the beaten path but accessible to Portland, Kennebunkport and Old Orchard. Suzanne is an amazing source of information!

Short stay by the sea

Restful seaside location far enough away from the hustle of the resorts, yet only minutes away to those attractions. Cozy and comfortable, killer oceanview.

Lovely setting

We had a wonderful time at this property. The cottage was old but clean and met all our needs. The view from the living room is spectacular! The owner was readily available to answer questions. Great location.

Small, clean, and comfortable

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this small, comfortable cottage close to Fortunes Rocks Beach, beautiful walking trails, and charming coastal towns. The cottage was clean and well-equipped and the owner very responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend!

Kindness and relaxation

Suzanne is a wonderful host! Her cottage is perfectly located for people like us who's looking for tranquility and the proximity of everything. The living room is incredible because of the ocean view and the little private beach is so cute. Hope to meet you next year!
