Rooms with A View

We stayed during my son’s graduation week from UNE…location, location, location! It’s a small, but well-appointed, homey space with plenty of seating and sleeping accommodations. A short walk to beach and morning coffee with beach front views. It’s exactly what we wanted to celebrate a special moment in our lives.

We had an amazing stay! The property was exactly what we needed, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything easy.The location was one of our favorite parts. We had a beautiful view of the beach, enjoyed a bonus fireworks show from Old Orchard right from the living room/porch, and I loved drinking my morning coffee on the deck while watching the boats come and go. It was the perfect way to start the day.The beach was just a short walk away, making it easy to catch both sunrise and sunset, and shopping, restaurants, and other attractions were only a quick drive away.A few tips for future guests:* If you like a very dark room for sleeping, consider bringing a sleep mask, the bedrooms get quite a bit of natural light.* If you sleep with white noise, a small fan or noise machine would be helpful.* Have a towel or small mat by the door to brush off your feet. Sand has a way of following you everywhere!Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic Location

Unbeatable location steps from the beach, and close to Portland and other attractions. It was perfect for the three of us, when not out and about, we all hung out in the open room upstairs with the comfortable couch. It exceeded our expectations. Owner was super responsive and helpful with my questions prior to arriving. Highly recommend.

Fabulous

This home is absolutely perfect. The view was incredible. Steps from the beach. It has everything you could possibly need for vacation. The beach, a yard for the kids to run around in, a patio with a fire pit and grill, a beautiful deck to sit and have morning coffee watching the small boats come and go and an impeccable interior.

Nice location

House was very clean. Comfortably sleeps 6-7. There is not comfortable seating for 6-7. A card table that could be accessed for games or meals would be a nice addition.

Fantastic Vacation

This vacation rental was absolutely cozy. We enjoyed everything about it. Very clean, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed fires at the fire pit nightly. The beach is just walking distance away. Very quiet and neighbors keep to themselves. We definitely would stay here again, if we were to return to Maine. Oh-there are smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in the home.

Clean, well-equipped unit with great neighbors!

This unit is one-side of a duplex, equipped with everything you need for a restful stay (except stove/oven, as noted in the listing, but with microwave, grill and air fryer, you can still make dinner). The space is clean and tastefully furnished, and the owner is very easy to work with. I would suggest bringing your own pillows, as each sleeping spot in the home gets only one pillow. Towels and linens are excellent quality, and the little touches are there - a bin of "in case you forgot" emergency supplies, wineglasses in the kitchen, clear instructions for checkout. We loved our time in Hills Beach!

Beautiful location, close to all the fun but a nice private place. Fun to wander the beach and watch the boats. House is clean and comfy. I stayed with spouse and 2 teenagers for a long weekend and it was perfect. Jeff is super responsive and a very generous host. Highly recommend!! On my list of places to visit again!

Was a great place for our Maine trip. The rental was exactly as described. Great location and close to many locations (Kennebunk, Wells, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, and more). Gorgeous views of the water from both sides of the home. The home was comfortable and well stocked. Jeff was quick to answer a question I had which lead to stress free check in and a great overall time.
