Welcome to "Reflections Cottage" a unique and cozy waterfront cottage in an oasis-like setting. With water view from every room, it is perfect for a romantic getaway or a chance to relax, recharge, and commune with nature. Take about 30 steps from the cottage deck and you are on the beach.

Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Delaware Bay, Prime Hook Reserve, and our gardens. We have taken the time to assure everything is in place and your stay is enjoyable.

Quiet Getaway

Slaughter beach was a wonderful secluded getaway. The cottage’s location was perfect for stepping right down to the beach as often as we wanted.

Last of Summer Getaway

This property was just what we needed to cap our summer. It was nicely decorated and comfortable. Being close to the water and listening to the waves was so relaxing and refreshing. We would definitely consider this property again when we travel this way. Thank you!

Fantastic Long Weekend

Perfect mother/daughter birthday weekend gateway! Reflection cottage is beautiful and the bay views are gorgeous. It is remote, which is what we wanted to avoid the holiday crowds AND not too far for outings with friends in Rehoboth! Loved it and hope to return next time with the guys too!

Quaint and relaxing beachfront

This beachfront cottage was beautifully decorated with great water views and access. Only negatves were too well worn mattresses and weak WiFi signal.

A wonderful stay

Pride Of Ownership

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Reflections Cottage. The view when we walked in the door was stunning and it was apparent that the owners took pride in their home. It was really lovely and quiet and not too far from the hustle and bustle of Lewes and Rehoboth. Would love to return in the Fall when the green head flies are nowhere to be found! Thank you for having us in your wonderful home.

Mom get away

Perfect, cozy cottage. We enjoyed our stay! Beach was a nice ling one to walj in. Horeshoe crabs very cool. Please add salt and pepper as a staple item. Easy to find. All interior and exterior elements were perfect. Loved our stay!

Beautiful location.

The house is very comfortable overall. The upstairs with all the bedrooms is a little close, and the room listed as having a double bed and twin bed is a trundle bed. There was no backup toilet paper in the house for a four night stay. But everything was clean, comfortable, and in working order. The back deck / patio / yard / beach access is truly wonderful.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cottage! Communication with the owner was great and check in was really easy. The cottage was clean, updated and had everything we needed. The view is amazing and access to the beach was wonderful. The area is very quiet and it was perfect for relaxing after a long day. We loved the outdoor shower and the front and back patio. Also the air conditioning worked great during the heat wave which made our stay comfortable. We will definitely return!

Blown away by how great this house/property was upon arrival. The owner answered all of our questions-and there were a lot. It was perfect for our family of seven. Recommend the town of Milton for groceries and local restaurants. Quick drive to Lewes for charter fishing as well. We can’t thank the owners enough for the great vacation we had at their home.

Not so exquisite...

Great location, very quiet... We planned to stay a whole week, unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation very short (three days) due to an infestation of fruit flies. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small, and the house needs a thorough cleaning. The kitchen is well equipped, but the outdoor grill had seen better days. No privacy in the living room. The house next door is very close, and there are no window treatments in this room.

Beautiful Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This clean and nicely renovated house is situated on a quiet street with the backyard fully of lovely flowers, overlooking the bay. The sunsets were gorgeous. The house is beautifully decorated and the sun room is a great place to gather and hang out and read or to watch tv. The outdoor shower just recently installed is a big plus and helps keep the sand from coming in the house. Community tennis courts are a few minutes down the road by walking or a short drive. Prime Hook Wildlife Area is just a walk down the beach and there are tons of birds swooping in the back yard - lovely if you are a birder. July is probably peak season for the black flies so bug spray is key. Hoping to return sometime during the autumn!

Worth it if you can enter!

Beautiful property! Lovely and helpful accoutrements. Great view and near Slaughter Beach with the horseshoe crabs - our reason for visiting. Did not receive access code on time - 4 hours after our check-in time. Owner apologized but not being able to reach him for over three hours as we waited to enter was not good. Could not access beach on last day because his steps to the beach, on a steep incline, were blown away by heavy winds that occurred night of June 4th, uncontrollable weather but maybe steps need to be secured better. But we did enjoy our stay and again, the house is beautiful.

Family get together

The property was lovely. The interior was nicely decorated and the landscaping was gorgeous. We saw hummingbirds and goldfinches in the garden during our stay. That being said, the cottage was small. While it officially sleeps seven, our group of six adults was really too large for comfort. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small and one of the bathrooms is next to the front door. The location on the beach was wonderful and there was virtually no one else around, but the beach was very rocky and the water very murky. Our biggest problem was the insects. I don't know if it was the time of the season we were there or because there had been a recent storm, but we were attacked by giant flies and mosquitoes. At times, it was not possible to be outside. I came home with dozens of insect bites.

Nice place . Very Clean and nicely decorated, but not really for the kids They like to swim in bigger waves. One tv was not good and fire stick has lots of issues

Perfect beachside cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely renovated cottage. The house had everything we needed (as advertised), the beach is private and gorgeous, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Yes, you have at least a 10 minute drive to find restaurants, stores, etc but it’s a small price to pay for the gorgeous beachfront views. Enjoy!
