We loved this place! It's an older very charming unit (duplex) and it was very nice inside and outside and very well appointed too. The outdoor patio was a must each morning with our coffee and breakfast and in the evening after a long day of fun. We walked everywhere too - super close to University and very close to Balboa park. All in a great neighborhood. Highly recommend for a couple - the extra room is very small so good for small family with little kids. We wished we could have stayed longer!

This is a great base for exploring SD. We travelled for Comicon but wanted to escape the madness in the evening. Despite how busy it was, we were able to get an Uber there and back quite easily. Usually around 9-15 dollars per trip. Robert is an attentive host and the property was clean and tidy. The air con was essential! Although the outdoor area was also a wonderful bonus. We would definitely stay again!

The rooms were very much smaller there shown. Restroom was a very tight squeeze. The stairs were very narrow. Backpatio was very nice. There was no toilet paper.

Great place! Only thing is the room with the twin beds is very small and has no closet. We did not get notified for check in until 2.5 hours prior to check in at 3pm. Otherwise great place!

We didn't actually stay here because we didn't get check-in instructions and we couldn't get in touch with the host. VRBO support helped us find another location to stay. I've never had this happen with an STR but it was pretty stressful landing in town on a busy graduation weekend and not knowing if we'd have a place to stay.

This place was well stocked and very inviting. We also enjoyed the design and layout of the property because it allowed for those who wanted to continue the night to do so downstairs while the other who wished to go to bed could find their resting place upstairs. Not to mention the back area that clean and great for keeping the night alive.

Main reason for choosing this location was its "closeness" to the Zoo. Neighborhood was peaceful with several options of grocery and coffee with in a few blocks. The home was big enough for us to feel cozy and relaxed, way better than a standard hotel!

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here - there was always excellent communication before and during our stay. The space itself is lovely with everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re visiting beautiful San Diego!

Cozy nest close to park, walkable to great coffee, pastries, restaurants and a super cool suspension bridge. Easy Uber stop-offs and pick-ups so lack of parking really not an issue. Very responsive host.

Great Place

We love the place as the location was great to downtown and getting on the freeway. Parking was easy. The A/C was great for the two rooms and we liked the outdoor patio.

We loved staying here so much we booked it twice in one trip. We were able to leave and take a side trip and come back after. It was nice already being familiar with the property.

Perfect house to stay at for our first trip to San Diego. Great location and neighborhood. We felt safe and secure in the home. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property! We came out for the Padres game and we took an uber from the house to the stadium. The backyard area is so beautiful and relaxing. Host was very responsive and friendly. Definitely coming back!

Great Location

Fantastic location for wanting to explore San Diego. VRBO had everything we needed. Bonus points for having a hot water kettle. My husband also loved the coffee. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a night to be close to the start line for teh Rock n Roll marathon. It was absolutely perfect! We caught the bus across the road to get downtown and just loved the area. Bed was very comfortable, nice sheets and pillows (very important night before a long run!)
