House is also located in the middle of the main thoroughbred breeding region in the World. Some of the farms close by are Cobra, Castleton Lyons, Spy Coast, Limestone Ridge, Hurricane Hall, Calumet, Spendthrift, Dixiana, Kentuckiana, Far Away, Three Chimneys, Walnut Hall, and Winchester to name a few.

If you are infatuated with the horse, this is the place to be. The self proclaimed Horse Capital of the world welcomes you! Tours can be arranged with prior notice. See sights from the movies Dreamer, Seabiscut, and Secretariat with in minutes of this home. Perfect place to unwind at night after a day at the races (Keeneland and Red Mile). Touring the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, or Thoroughbred Center, no worries 3-20 minutes away.

One bedroom with King bed, two bedrooms with queen beds. One tub shower combination, one large shower only. Central air, flat screen TVand DVD player. Kitchen and dining room. Washer and dryer. Large fenced backyard for your pet or for grilling on our gas grill. House is small in square footage, so perfect for a home base while touring the area.

We have two homes vrbo # 246734 and #492149 located across the street from this home. If you have a large group we can potentially accommodate according to availability!

Fabulous for the Kentucky Horse Park

This lovely home was perfect for our group as we showed at the Park. Quick and easy to get to and from the Park, shops and restaurants. House was clean and tidy and the host was super responsive and helpful. We will look forward to staying again!!

Bourbon Tour

The house was as described, beds were comfy, but some a bit loud when moving around. House had plenty of room for us and four other friends. It was great to have the laundry on site as we had to deal with lots of rain from hurricane Helene. Just remember to bring toilet paper and paper towels with you since those are not provided. Great convient location, looking fwd to visiting again next year!

Great location to the horse show

Everything was fine. There was definitely a lack of Toilet paper. That's really the only thing. I like when the houses are stocked with toilet paper, kitchen rolls and Kleenex. The location was great, the yard was fenced.

University of Kentucky graduation

We enjoyed our stay and attended a family member’s graduation. Rental was as pictured as stated online. Cleanliness, communication with owner, check in/out was great.

Convenient to everything around Lexington

We loved staying in this cute little house! It was perfect for us coming into town visiting our daughter at UK and attending Keeneland on Saturday. The House was well stocked with all amenities we needed and the beds were very comfy. It was a beautiful drive in and out of the neighborhood with lots of horse farms and rolling hills. The BBQ place a few doors down was fantastic too! We would stay here again! Thanks Todd!

Great Rental Near Kentucky Horse Park

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! We were attending an event at the Kentucky Horse Park and it was minutes away! Also, it's steps away from the famed Red State BBQ Restaurant which was delicious! The road this house is on is quite busy if you're trying to turn left out of the house. If you're bringing a dog, the backyard space is great however there are a few holes in the yard that a dog could step in and get injured and several sections of fencing that are in need of maintenance and repair (chain link fencing is loose in several spots, privacy fencing is broken/has gaps at the bottom of it, etc.) so definitely recommend keeping a close eye on your dog while they're outside, especially due to the proximity to the busy road. Overall, a great little house and we really enjoyed our stay. We plan to stay again!

Perfect home base for a girls weekend in KY

The property is just as described. Very clean and centrally located private backyard, and just a couple houses down from Red State barbecue, which was very good. Very close to the horse park and other attractions including Claiborne Farm. We will definitely stay at Todd’s house again when we return to Kentucky.

Perfect Home Base for KHP

The house is a perfect home base for trips to the KHP. It’s farm house feel and decor fits the surrounding area. Just a short drive into Lex, G-town and Midway. Will stay again.

Nice cozy place!

Our family had the best time staying here. The house was so close to all our destinations for our vacation. We had plenty of room to sleep and hang out between events.

Great place with comfy beds!!!

We were in town to compete in a horse show so each day we are extremely tired and looking forward to a comfy bed… I’m pretty picky about my mattresses and this house has comfy beds! Everything was nice and clean… House smelled great… Everything worked as it should and the host was a dream ! Would love to stay there again!

Great stay - super close to horse park!!

We stayed at Todd’s property with 4 adults and a dog while showing at the Kentucky Horse Park. The huge fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and the house was 5 minutes from the KHP, which was beyond convenient. It was absolutely perfect for our stay and Todd was incredibly nice and quick to respond when we had a question. Highly recommend this property, especially if you have an event at KHP and have a dog. Highly recommend Todd as a host, too! His check in and check out process was also very easy.

Horseshow getaway

My daughter and I stayed in this house since it was so close to the Kentucky Horse Park where she was showing. We could go visit our horse/run to the show/ come back to rest within minutes. We enjoyed using the kitchen to cook most of our meals. When not at the show we played volleyball in the spacious back yard and even befriended a nice cat. The highway/ train noise was a little loud but it was only heard while in the bedrooms but I slept well every night.

Nice house

The house and contents were nice, and clean. I would recommend fence repairs this property is advertised as pet friendly. The images imply a tall wood fenced back yard, when in fact the tall fence only surrounds about half the yard. And, areas of this fence are about to fall. The remaining fence is standard metal chain link fence. The gate doesn’t latch properly, some of the fence line is damaged, a small dog could get out. The house itself was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, it sits on a very busy street with heavy traffic including semi trucks. The traffic and the fence made it somewhat unsafe for dogs.
