Peaceful Family Getaway!

New construction build completed in Spring 24’ this (4) Bed, (3) full baths and (2) half baths sits on a .5 acre, partially wooded lot located on a private road in Lakeside ideal for family visits to enjoy a peaceful getaway. The home is located two blocks from the private beach on Lake Michigan (note there are roughly 85 steps down to private beach). Public beach access (no steps) 3 min drive. House sleeps 13 - three king beds, three twin and 1 full in bunk room. There is a pull out queen sofa bed in the upstairs den with TV. All bedrooms (except bunk room) have 55” TV’s. Large screened porch with 70” TV, weather-master window system and ceiling mounted heater for colder nights. Other amenities include upstairs laundry room, gas fire pit, synthetic turf bocce/putting/recreation court, 240V EV charger (tesla), (12) Beach chairs, Lily Pad, wagon, cooler, and beach toys. Two minute drive to Union Pier restaurants, bakery and grocery store; 10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. If you feel this sounds like the perfect getaway please come stay in this beautiful Lakeside gem!

Everything about our stay here was absolutely wonderful. We came with 4 kids and 6 adults, all of whom had plenty of space to hang out, relax, and play. The green field in front was great for games of bocce and pickleball, we had s’mores in the fire pit, lounging in the hammock, and meals in the spacious kitchen and 3-season room. The beach was 2 blocks away and never crowded. Our hosts were kind and very accommodating, with every detail of this place being so thoughtful and pleasant. Ellen and Todd, we can’t thank you enough for all the care and thought you put into ensuring we had the best family getaway in union pier. We are already looking forward to staying again next summer!

Beautiful home that suites our needs for a multi-family vacation. Plenty of seating for the whole family. Loved the fire pit! The turf court and side yard was perfect for nightly yard games!! All of the extras around the house helped make our vacation week one to remember - we are already looking for when we can come back. Owners are very responsive and great to work with.

We (4 adults and 7 children) all had a great stay. The house was as described. Well-stocked with the basics and beyond. We can tell the owners took time to think of everything guests would need to make their stay comfortable. Walked to the beach a couple times and enjoyed the scenery. The screened-in patio was our favorite room.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our recent stay. The house was very clean, and in a great location. Close to so many Harbor County attractions. Can’t beat the short walk to the beach either. We’ll definitely visit again soon.

This is my second time renting this property. Great setup with close proximity to beach, coffee shop and restaurants. It’s a relaxing getaway just a short drive from Chicago. Will definitely be back and communication with owners was beyond expectation!

We needed a place to hold a lot of family, including babies and toddlers. This house lacked for nothing and the check in/out process was a breeze. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodation, the arrangements and with Ellen and Todd. They were so easy to communicate with and when we had a question or had to make a change they couldn't have been nicer or easier to help out. The house is located in a quiet spot just outside town and the location was good for us...both because we were close to other family and because it is just a great, lovely neighborhood and not out of the way or too far from anything. We would all highly recommend the house and Ellen and Todd. We would also rent again when we come back next time.

Our stay was everything we could have hoped for. The hosts were great with communication, even answering many questions before we booked. The house was spotless when we arrived, the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need, and the family room and 3-season rooms were great for relaxing. Even in the cold months, the outdoor firepit was a wonderful place to spend time while the kids played on the turf. We stayed over a cold Thanksgiving week, but can not wait to come back in the summer months to spend time on the beach.

Very happy with our stay

Excellent amenities and space for the entire extended family. Lots of gathering spaces and a short walk to a very private beach space. This was a highlight with the beach area itself being free of rocks and lots of sandbar space. Highly recommend this rental for family gatherings.

This house was great! Very clean, felt brand new, perfect for a large group! Spent most of our time in the back screened in porch and the front yard. Great communication throughout the booking process too!

Great Weekend Spot Near the Beach

Had a small bachelor weekend with 8 people. House was comfortable, with a very nice screened in room in the back, great for enjoying the fall weather.

The home has been designed in a fashion to create several very comfortable places to relax. The upstairs "den" is intended for the kids or simply the den you want to go to to take a break from all the fun. The recreation/bocce court in front can be used for just about anything you can think of in a clean, level 42'x22' outdoor space. Seating for (14) in front patio/entertaining space. This space is made to enjoy as a large group comfortably.
