Fantastic place to stay! 5 adults and plenty of room. Super clean with 2 full bathrooms, washer, dryer, and all the amenities. Great location for both Saugatuck and Holland. Definitely a place to come back to!

Location was great in getting to all places..restaurants, grocery store, beach etc. It was very quiet at night which is what I was looking for. All and all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely adorable space. The kitchen was well beyond fully-stocked. The location was fantastic-front door to The Butler (end of main area) was 20 min!

2 rooms with 2 additional beds in the living room that can be closed off with a curtain. The location was great for us, we walked to town. A few times during our stay. It's possible to walk to the main beach near Mount Baldhead using the chain ferry, although it's likely 20-25 minutes, we ubered.

Thanks for input, our new home has many updates besides two bedrooms an addition large sleeping room with a pull down Murphy Bed and a Twin Bed great for Families. The two bathroom are Ceramic tile with heated floors. One with a bathroom/ shower and second bathroom with walk in 5x 5 shower. Of course the 15 to 20 min to town can be shorten by the door to door shuttle ( .50 for seniors) and local Ubers if you do not want to walk 😊

I soon realized, after a several phone call this group of 5 ladies never used a push button door lock. I also realized they are challenge by written instructions. Very fun group. The poor ratings come from the smoking on the front door steps leaving cigarettes and ashes to be cleaned up. Sorry!!

The apartment is in the basement of the house. The house has another apartment on the 2nd floor with the owners occupying the ground level. The leading picture of the deck connects to the owners living space but is available to all guests. The basement apartment has high ceilings, a comfortable living room with gas fireplace, 2 full bathrooms with heated floors, 2 small bedrooms, a laundry room, and alcove off the living room with a small table, single bed, and Murphy bed. The kitchen is very nice and completely stocked for all your cooking needs. Gary the owner was very responsive. There was a bottle of wine and snacks. I only heard the owners above us a couple of times and it was a muffled step. We all slept well as it was dark and quiet. We walked into town which is very close. Parking is outside and your entrance is in the garage. It was a sister’s trip and we enjoyed our stay, thank you Gary.

Great Long Weekend Stay

Perfect mini getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and had an amazing experience! Nearby several eateries and attractions. Fantastic location and lovely home!

Quiet Respite

Our stay was quiet and relaxing. The accommodations were perfect and it's in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path, yet close enough to get anywhere in 5 minutes. The place was immaculate and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Not very soundproof as we could hear talking above us while we were watching a movie, also the bed in the furthest room across from the bathroom, needs replacing badly, it is noisy and rickety. I think otherwise it was very nice. The other room, which I used, seemed updated with newer bedroom features, such as pedestal bed with storage in the drawers, but they were full of pillows which I love as well. It had floating bedside tables and extra outlets on both sides of the bed. The rest of the apartment was 5 star if you close the door where the humidifier is located because it could be loud.

Your comments are the first negative review we have received in seven years of hosting, so we take them seriously. We will address the concern you mentioned about the bedroom. Regarding the noise, we happened to be at the property that weekend because our son, who had not been home in four years, flew in to visit us. We usually are not at our home, but the weather was too bad for us to stay at the marina, even so, we make every effort to observe our quiet hours beginning at 10:00 p.m. I also want to apologize again regarding your cancellation request. We communicated several times before your arrival and truly tried to work with VRBO to find a solution. I understand how disappointing the situation was for you. Unfortunately, because the request came only seven days before your scheduled arrival, it was outside the cancellation window, and we were unable to make an exception under the booking policy.
