End of Summer trip

Stay was great location wonderful close to the beach only complaint was there was no wifi but at the end of the day it was great plenty of rooms and space and clean

Matagorda

The property is conveniently located. The home could use a deep cleaning and needs to have locks repaired. Otherwise we loved our two families had a long weekend here.

Convenient location, needs a deep cleaning

This condo was fine for our group of 4 adults. The boat ramp is not accessible. The canal/boat slip needs to be dredged if you draft over 12". Plenty of room, plenty of beds. Would require a deep clean before I brought my small children.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that the townhouse was not as clean as it needed to be, it’s been a crazy busy summer with rentals, but I assure you it is scheduled for a deep clean so I hope you will bring your family next time. Unfortunately the canal needs to be dredged but it is not owned by us, and it has been told to the proper authorities that it needs dredging as it is not only used by us but by the public, commercial and recreational. The inability to use the boat ramp by any sizeable boat is also due to the dredging issue. Hurricane Harvey as well as the Tropical storm in September 2021 left lots of silt and mud in the canal. Hope to have you again soon.

Great place

2nd time stay here. My family and I really enjoy staying here. Clean, fishing right out front, lots of space for everyone to have their privacy, close to town and not far from the beach. We will be staying there again.

COMPLETE RIPOFF

WENT TO BOOK PROPERTY IWAS CHARGED ALMOST 2500. ERROR CODE CAME BACK STATING PROPERTY WASNT AVAILABLE FOR THOSE DATES,SO BOOKED ANOTHER HOUSE FROM SOMEONE ELSE. NEXT DAY SAW MY CARD WAS CHARGED. CALLED AMELIA A MINUM OF 9 TIMES,TEXTED AND NO ANSWER. TRIED TO TALK TO VRBO SPOKE TO A FILIPINO LADY,HARD TO UNDERSTAND. SO I NEVER STAYED THERE AND AMELIA KEPT MY MONEY. OBVIOUSLY SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT FAMILIES OR PERSONAL REPUTATION AND ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT TAKE YOUR CALL. THERE ARE ALOT BETTER PROPERTIES OUT THERE FOR SAME MONEY AND ACTUALLY ON THE RIVER NOT A LITTLE COVE. AGAIN IMAGINE PAYINGFOR A HOUSE FOR A VACA BEING TOLD WASNT AVAILABLE AND STILL CHARGED. WILL DEFINITELY BE REPOSTING THIS ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA. VRBO STILL HASNT RETURNED MY CALL 3 WEEKS LATER.

When you sent the message you wanted to cancel, I told you that YOU needed to cancel it because if I did then I would be charged the cancellation fee. It would not have let you book if it wasn’t available.

I feel the condo was big and great lay out. Does need some maintenance things done. There was several things broke or not taken care.

Nothing was cleaned

The location was great, but nothing was cleaned. All the bedding and pillows were stained and there were dust balls everywhere. It didn’t seem like the place was cleaned at all.

I am sorry you feel the need to leave this type of review because I called you during your stay to remind you to only use the property you rented because you were using personal property on adjacent units. You could have said something to me at that time about the units cleanliness or anything you think needier attention. It has always received very good comments. If there was a problem with anything, you had my number and I wished you would have called me so I could have come over to see for myself.

Great place!

We came down to Matagorda for a long weekend of fishing. The property was clean and very accommodating! Great communication and hospitality from the host!
