The property, on the sound, was beautifully decorated and Amanda had all the small amenities present. The sunsets were breathtaking. Hated to leave. Hope to vacation there again.

If you are looking for a place that is well equipped and well decorated and very clean and organized this is the place you want. From the great views over the sound and perfect sunsets and star gazing from the hot tub. The neighborhood and neighbors are great and I can’t forget salty and shorty the neighborhood watch dogs. Amanda is the best host you can ask for. We will definitely be coming back to this place.

The host Amanda was great, always there to answer any questions and helped us get settled in. The house was amazing and updated. We had a wonderful stay on the sound with beautiful sunsets. I will definitely want to stay there again for a full week.

We had a wonderful stay in this OBX home away from home with beautiful sunsets and surrounding water views. We will definitely plan to be back for another stay!

Lovely home with spectacular views! Our family had a wonderful visit. The home has lots of tasteful touches that make you comfortable and help you relax while on vacation. We’re already planning our next trip!

Perfect Relaxing Vacation Home!

This was our second stay at Best Box, and it will absolutely not be our last! It was just as wonderful as we remembered, and there were even a few new features that made the stay that much more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable and the house has absolutely everything you could need. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

Beautiful!

Very clean and beautifully decorated! Amazing views and sunsets! The house was bigger and more spacious than thought. I highly recommend staying there!

The home is lovely and nicely decorated. We were grateful for a well equipped kitchen, cleanliness, and amenities. We enjoyed the games, variety of books, and game area. We were thankful for the outdoor equipment, we enjoyed the kayaks, bean bags, beach chairs and more. The hot tub was perfect for warming up after a chilly day in the bay or at the beach.We were a family of 6, utilizing the bedrooms and the pull-out sofa bed. We were aware of the sleeping arrangements, but the living room could have used one more seat so 6 of us could comfortably watch tv together at the end of the day.

Pictures don’t do this home justice! I’ve been staying in the Outer Banks for 20 plus years and this home was not only beautiful but cozy. It had everything you needed and even the things you may have forgot to bring. The views were priceless! (day and night) We enjoyed every moment of our time spent here and cannot wait to come back.

The Best Ever

This was the best VRBO stay I’ve ever had and I’ve had several great ones! Amanda was amazing and attentive, the place was perfectly maintained and the view of the water was sooo relaxing. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!

I cannot express how much we enjoyed our Best Box stay! From our gracious hosts, the property manager, the meticulous details of the home, all of the amenities, THE SUNSET... just a beautiful property in a beautiful place. Amanda - you really thought of everything we could have wanted and more :) We cannot wait to come back for a longer stay.

The pictures don’t do the house justice

The best box is amazing and well worth every penny. The decor, the location and the management as well as the owner are so welcoming. Everything you can imagine or even forget to pack is there. Thank you for an incredible vacation. We will be back!

Great stay on the Bay

Loved this house. The view was great. House was like new. Enjoyed visiting nearby Lighthouse and surf fishing close by north of Buxton. Location was convenient. We will rent this VRBO again. Host was very accommodating !!

Amazing sunsets

We had an amazing father son weekend here at the bestbox! The home was immaculate, comfy, and very well stocked with everything you need for a fun week. The owner was very helpful and responsive when answering questions. We will definitely be back!

Outer Bank experience

We have a great time in Best Box! The view in the deck everyday is so calming especially the sunset. House itself is great! And Amanda is so helpful in all our queries. Neighbors were all nice and we have fun with Morgan!

Look no further!!

This place is absolutely amazing. Close to beach access and beautiful sunsets over the sound. Outdoor set up was perfect for our family after a day on the beach. We will definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. A major incentive of staying here was the house came with everything you need to play at the beach and at the house (beach chairs and toys, fishing poles, backyard games, etc.).

Great place to stay.

My wife and I had a great get away at this property. The house is very very clean. The decor and furniture are amazing; lots of really cool things to check out throughout the house. The bay is right on the deck so the provided kayaks were very easy to launch. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the chilly nights. All in all we would definitely recommend and stay here again. The owners attention to detail is unlike any other place we’ve stayed. Thank you for your hospitality, Steve.

Family beach trip

AMAZING Best Box! This house has everything plus some! Comfortable layout, beautiful views, easy drive to the beach, better stocked kitchen than my house, and entertainment galore! My 17 year old sons were never bored and that says a lot! Kayaks, floats, darts, foosball, games a plenty, fishing, beach games… We will definitely stay here the next time we go to the outer banks!

Off-Season Gem!

The hot tub at sunset was fabulous, and the electric fireplaces were cute and cozy. We even used the outdoor shower! The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the kitchen had everything we needed for special family meals. Our kids loved the game room! Shelling is always incredible this time of year, and we practically had the beach to ourselves! We will definitely be back.

Incredible House!

The location was fantastic: a quiet neighborhood right on the sound. The house had absolutely everything you might need and the decor was unique (in a good way)! We ended up spending a lot of time at the house because we just loved it so much. The only thing I’d ask for is more than one trash bag, but that’s it. It was hard to leave and we’re already excited to come back!

Amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Best Box! The house was adorable with hilarious touches all around! Many locations on property to relax and watch the sunset over the sound! The kayaks were an amazing touch and allowed my son and I to kayak for the first time! Amanda was so was fast to respond to any questions we had as well! Overall, we had an AMAZING vacation and can't wait to come back! ❤️
