Recently renovated 75 year old mountain home. 3 bedroom / 2 bath house less than 10 minutes from Sierra Nevada, 15 minutes from Biltmore House and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Close to hiking trails, Blue Ridge Parkway, and conveniently located near the Asheville Regional Airport. Short drive to shopping, restaurants, and local breweries. Amenities include, Wi-Fi, full-size washer/dryer, plenty of parking, Keurig coffee/tea and bottled water. Dog-friendly fenced-in back yard.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, living room and separate dining room. There is a deck in front of the house with a side table and chairs. It is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The back patio overlooks the fenced in lot with a nice mountain view.

It was spotless. The host made check in and check out a breeze. It was pet friendly in every way, and perfect for a small family get away. I highly recommend this location. It was perfect!

Exceptional customer awareness. Extra care was taken to make you feel welcome with all the small extras like a snack basket, bottled water, individual personal products, dog treats, etc. The hosts were wonderful to work with. Always available if needed and accomodating. Clean and comfortable. Loved the fenced back yard and patios. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone needing a pet friendly home. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay! There were 5 in our group and we all slept comfortably. The house was impeccably clean! Although it rained most of our stay, we were able to enjoy a few hours on the back patio overlooking the spacious backyard. Loved all the little extras like cold water bottles in the fridge and the "snack basket", which was especially enjoyed by our teenaged son. We were visiting family that lives locally so this will be our go to for future visits. Next time we will bring our pup!

This was a very nice place to stay with pets. The fenced backyard made potty breaks easy. The snacks, bottled water and ice waiting in the refrigerator was very welcoming. Nice location near prettt much anything you could need.

Great place for pups with the large fenced yard! Hosts were nice and responsive, and the kitchen was stocked with a few goodies as well.

Perfect place to stay! A hidden gem that I really hope stays hidden away so it stays perfect just like it is. The owners are so kind and they thought of everything! I love their place it was just what we needed.

Great spot for the 6 person family to hang out for our Biltmore visit. Doug was very available and helpful, the accomodations were excellent, the extra snacka and book with local recommendations were great touches, and the dog toys and treats were an extra bonus. Definitely would consider for another Asheville trip!

Everything was wonderful. Five stars all day!!! The house had a very relaxing vibe and they provided everything that we could have needed. Loved being able to watch the sunrise and sunset on the front and back deck. We slept great, the bed was very comfortable. Our dog was also very comfortable there. She loved the big backyard and laying on the decks, too. We were quite comfortable and loved everything about our stay. Thanks so much!!

We felt very safe and were comforted by the new fencing since we brought our fur babies. The snacks were a welcome surprise that we all enjoyed after the 4 hour trip! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

The house was perfect for us and the Mutts, not like some pet rentals that are taken down a notch. The amenities were great with every detail covered. The owners were very responsive to our questions as we had weather on the onset. We will be back

Gorgeous home wonderful stay

Beautiful home lots of extras, coffee all amenities snacks bottled water this place has it all. wonderful backyard for your four-legged friends fenced. we’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is by far our favorite will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

The house had everything we needed. It was in a great location near restaurants, grocery stores and Asheville. It was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Family Vacation

My husband and I took our 17 year old grandson and his friend for our last vacation before they graduate high school. We loved the house and the location. They wanted to stay another night, but we had to get home!

Truly a gem!

A group of friends who were entered in a nearby dog show stayed for the second year at "Beary Relaxing". I cannot say enough good things about it, from the charm, the decks, the wonderful yard our dogs enjoyed, the cutlery and bed linens! It is a wonderful home to which we hope to return again and again.

The Beary-relaxing house was perfect for us. Enough space for us to have privacy yet be together. The thoughtful little touches throughout the house made it feel like home. The fenced in yard was awesome when it came to letting the dog out. Doug, our host, made sure everything was okay when we arrived and was prompt with his communications Overall, it was an excellent visit and we hope to return to the Beary-Relaxing cottage on our next visit to Asheville.

This little cottage was very relaxing and peaceful. The place was exceptionally clean. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, utensils, etc. The drive up to it was a bit winding, but very pretty. It was easy to get to the places in Asheville we wanted to visit and a quick trip to get to the Biltmore. We especially liked the mural commemorating the flood last year.

Peaceful Place

Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. Everything in the home has been updated and was very clean. Many extra touches that make it feel so homey-books, games, coffee, bottles of water, etc. It is also very close to Christ School and surrounding great restaurants, shopping. We came for graduation festivities and it was so convenient. Highly recommend.

Ladies Weeknd

We had a great weekend at this charming home. It was immaculate and well-stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to Biltmore and downtown Asheville. The hosts definitely put it together for a great experience.

The Ideal Spot for a Peaceful Asheville Vacation

Our family (me, my husband, children (11, 15, and 18 years) and our daughter's boyfriend decided to take a last minute trip as a farewell to summer and we are so glad that Doug and Terri's place was available. It is the cutest renovated home that was so cozy for all 6 of us. It was impeccably clean, had a fully stocked coffee bar, and all of the essentials in case you forgot anything. The best part was the fenced in back yard that was perfect for our little jack russell terrier. We would, without question, stay here again.

Great weekend stay.

We had a great weekend stay at Beary Relaxing Cozy Getaway. We brought our two dogs and it was a perfect setup for them. Flat, fenced in backyard. We hosted a small dinner party outside and there was plenty of outdoor seating and a picnic table. The living room was the perfect size for watching Saturday football.
