Snowbird Paradise - Relaxing Retreat on the Water-10 Minutes to Gulf & Springs!

COMPLETELY RENOVATED...It’s time to unwind on Florida’s Nature Coast! You and up to five guests will enjoy a full week in a two bedroom/two bath waterfront home in Crystal River. Your vacation home is located on a deep-water canal halfway between the Gulf of America and Kings Bay off of Ft. Island Trail. The location makes this house a dream for fishing, scalloping, kayaking or just good ole’ relaxation!

Unwind on the back deck and/or dock with a cocktail or two while enjoying the evening sunset. The 50’ dock has plenty of space for your boat and features an outdoor shower, fish cleaning table and dock ladder. Your vacation home sits just seven houses from the open waters of the river and includes the use of four kayaks that will get you to the river in just minutes.

The house comfortably sleeps four adults and features two master bedrooms (king beds), two bathrooms, family room with two sofas and a recliner and a Florida room that serves as an additional family room/sleeping area with a queen sleeper sofa, 2 comfy chairs and dining room table for four.

Additional features include boat trailer parking, Wi-Fi, cable TV, BBQ grill, one car garage with refrigerator/freezer & washer/dryer, four adult & youth life vests, fully stocked kitchen, regular coffee maker, blender, mixer and crockpot. If weather keeps you indoors, we have puzzles, games and books for you to enjoy.

Your Crystal River vacation home is one and a half miles to the east of the Fort Island Trail Park & Boat Ramp, four miles from Ft. Island Trail Beach, and four miles west of the Plantation Inn and Golf Resort as well as Aldi, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits and numerous restaurants. Publix is also available but a bit farther than Aldi.

By water the options are endless… explore and fish pristine grass flats and backcountry mangrove forests that are full of redfish, snook and trout or the nearshore shallow waters that are home to some of the best scalloping in the state as well as cobia, gag grouper, tarpon, triple tail and black drum. When you’re not fishing you can cruise to Kings Bay, Three Sisters Spring, Hunter Springs, numerous waterfront restaurants and the Plantation Inn & Golf Resort.

Comfortable with a great vibe!! You can tell the owners have put a lot of effort into making this a great place to stay. I love the decor! My family and I stayed for 4 nights. Had fun scalloping and hanging out on the beautiful back porch. If we weren’t on the boat, my grandsons were having a blast catching all kinds of fish from the dock. The canal is perfect access to the river and Gulf. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Kelleigh and Brian!

Great Place to Stay in Crystal River

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is furnished with everything you need. Having a dock on a deep water canal so close to the river make this place perfect for those bringing your boat. There is plenty of room to park a trailer at the house as well. The owner was easy to work with and check in/out was easy. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautifully decorated, very clean with an amazing waterfront location. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the necessary amenities. Located in a quiet walkable neighborhood but still close to parks, trails and restaurants. We were able to Kayak to Hunter Spring Park from the house to catch sight of some Manatees. Host was responsive and provided local information and easy to follow instructions.

Nice place , too much $ for short stay

Stayed 1 Full day and 2 nights and spent close to $900, it was clean and cute, but not worth that much $, luckily we saw manatees going out on the kayaks making it more memorable but it wasn’t easy getting them in and out of the water , this location is more Worth it if you have a boat and or staying for a longer period of time

Family Weekend

We pickec this house because of its location. Close to many things to do in the county. The kayaks were a must and go in easy at high tide. Manatees are a plenty in the region. We used the BBQ worked perfectly. Florida room was a nice bonus.

Great place for boaters

Wonderful place and hosts. We have stayed twice and both times they have been so kind and accommodating. We also have a bass boat that we launch at the public boat ramp just past the little community before we head to the house. The drive down to the house a little much with the boat but piece of cake with just the trailer. We just put in the boat first and take it out last we have packed everything up. Works great!

Fun family getaway

This was the perfect "home base" while we were in the area to visit family. Getting in and out of the front/back/garage doors using the codes was very easy (especially if you read the hosts' very thorough and helpful directions first). With two bathrooms and lots of seating we had plenty of space inside when everyone was there to spend time together. All the amenities in the home worked wonderfully and it was a comfortable and cozy stay for all of us. We used the kitchen (and the porch) pretty much every day. The kayaks were a lot of fun and the neighborhood was quiet at night. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you for everything.

We stayed for 2 nights 7-24-26 with our cousins , so there was five of us. The pictures don't give it justice outside. Made it look so small and not really attractive, but once you got inside, it was very roomy, very neat and newly remodeled, it was lovely. so we enjoyed our stay, we all had beds to sleep in and we had plenty of room. The only complaint I would say at this point would be the master bathroom drain. It did that drain _ I took showers outside and I was grateful for the outside shower. The Other bathroom , the tub felt very flimsy , so if there was any heavy individual , weighing a significant amount of weight might feel like it would go through the tub. The AC broke while we were there, and we were grateful that they had a sunroom. With a second air conditioner, it was welcomed deal with the Fl heat. The owners were also very responsive and quick to get an AC guy out to assess the situation. And then also did refund us for the 2 nights, minus the taxes and cleaning fee. The Pluses were the outdoor shower, the beautiful padio and humongous umbrella, as well as the 4 kayaks and life vest, I do recommend that you provide large life vest for a man or a larger person. the master bedroom does not have a ceiling fan, so we did find a fan, in the closet, there also is a box fan in the garage.. And one piece of advice that I wish I knew about that I'm sharing:all 5 of us paddled board and kayaked from the place to The 3 Sisters spring, was 1.5 hrs -2 1/2 miles each way

Very nice trailer home right one the water. It was clean, nicely decorated, sticked with everything we needed. If your scalloping or fishing, the location is great with direct river access. We had a great time.
